the custom spoiler has some random triangles here that might fuck up shading

are there really so many polygons in the spoiler? and they also say that new, more detailed tires can significantly degrade FPS... it may be necessary to promote this topic with a wider audience)

if you have 1% brake on only the third brake light lights up
    upload_2024-4-21_1-50-12.png

also, in reality i dont think this car would be legal with its current light setup because all the brake lights are on a movable piece. i really think it would benefit from having the function of the light segments changed around, ive mocked up what it would look like to make more sense and be legal
    upload_2024-4-21_2-0-57.png

    alternatively:
    upload_2024-4-21_2-11-50.png

personally i think option 2 looks better but obviously it may not be preferred as it would mean telling whether the brakelights are on by themselves or in conjunction with the taillights is only indicated through the chmsl and the brightness of the bulbs, but really i think either option is preferable to what we have at the moment which is (without sound like a massive nerd) illogical and illegal

its using a 3x bevel when it could do away with a 2x one and look fine

There is another issue I've found on the 200bx. On the traffic variants, the door windows show broken glass when broken. However on the driveable versions the glass disappears completely when broken. I've also noted the excessively floppy door jbeam- this could be fixed easily by strenghtening the hinges. The door does not flop when you remove the glass and door panel, so the weight of the door is the issue and strengthening the beams holding it on would completely eliminate it. Another smaller critique is that an animated turn-able key was not added, despite being present on the lansdale and some other recently added vehicles.

Must've fallen asleep on the subdivide hotkey

Edit: In game it only appears to be 2 or 3 polygons. A friend of mine said those might be control loops on the model for shading.

The issue is not that adding more nodes to the tires would decrease fps, it's that the tires wouldn't be rigid enough and they won't even feel better

Remember when they said mirrors were impossible? Or that you can't enlarge the map? They'll probably find a solution for the tires too, they can't leave it as it is.

One small thing I've noticed (don't ask me how): On the BX Coupe's reverse lights, the flare scale for the left is 0.03 and the right is 0.02. They should both be 0.02, as they are on the hatchback version.
In fact, it appears that the left signal is also 0.03, compared to the right's 0.02.

    !?

hard to tell from the pic really, keep in mind floor carpets often do have little dips n such in them, to suit the shape of the floorpan

So theres not really any US spec performance versions of the 200bx. Some us spec performance versions like a US spec GTZ model with a supercharged 2.4 I4 would be neat.

Devs, Please make pre 0.32 style widebody, at least bumpers and skirts. We need them. At least I need them. For real.
New body parts are cool, I like them. But I really miss the old 200BX. I am happy and sad at the same time.

So the BeamNG devs thought it would be a good idea to pump brake fluid directly into the intake...

He says it's all good fun and just to fill the engine bay, but I think how they did is disappointing. The pipes I can live with, but now I can't unsee the glaringly obvious mistakes.

Well I can believe that some newcomer or The elf designer was entrusted to make a model of the engine and other filling of the engine compartment, but where does the quality department look, if it even exists? I get the impression that some of the people involved in the BX and ETK remastering just don't like their jobs, don't like cars.
