Hello everyone, it's been a few mo
nths since I've uploaded a mod. I decided to do a quick project to take a break from my larger project that I have teased a couple times on the forums.
This map was created in under 6 hours in one day, but that doesn't mean it's lacking in quality. Agassiz Speedway is 512x512(half a km by half a km), and my last map (100 Mile House) was 4096x4096, which means that 64 Agassiz Speedways could fit inside 1 100 Mile house.
This map is very basic, there is the track, a few roads that lead off the map, and a bit of a mining area.
The track itself is very fun to drive on, low speeds and perfectly banked corners. The track contains working lights for nighttime racing.
And the thing that opened my eyes most about map creation is the overlay texture for the terrain. You will probably be able to see the overlay on every ground texture, and I hope you would because that texture is like 46MB, but it makes the map look so much more realistic.
Anyways, same install instructions as every other mod, drop the zip in your mods folder, easy peasy. Leave feedback, even if it's negative I still enjoy reading it.
