So got bored and started researching water physics in T3d the stumbled across this : http://www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/21022 The Current SSAO (imported from here) The New SSAO2 (imported from here) So just wondering if this could be implemented into the game and/or would fix the differently shaded squares in Alt+P screenshots.
Re: Interesting article on SSAO (potentially less glitch new version) This would certainly be a great idea, ALT + P Screenshots could get better from this so 1+ on this.
Re: Interesting article on SSAO (potentially less glitch new version) Eh... unless you know if it can fix the weird screenshots we still don't know if it will actually fix them yet. Hell it might not even be compatible with beamNG.
Re: Interesting article on SSAO (potentially less glitch new version) Yeah but if it works, Hopefully it fixes the grid thing on Alt + P screens.
Re: Interesting article on SSAO (potentially less glitch new version) Might not though guess I'll have to do some testing
Re: Interesting article on SSAO (potentially less glitch new version) The grid is from stuff moving while the pictures are taken. The camera zooms on 9 parts of the screen and takes screenshots and then stitches them together. If you could pause the trees and the car (I know you can pause the car) it should go away. I don't see the relation to SSAO2 though.
It works with beamNG and fixes the screenshots !!!! - - - Updated - - - And I mean when you press J then Alt+P and all the squares have different lighting.
