Just got alittle tired of the T75 sounding like it had a small block v8, and I figured id share. To install, unzip "T75_sounds.zip" then open "semi.zip" in ...beamng-experimental-0.3.6.3\content\vehicles with 7zip. Then drag and drop everything from "T75_sounds" into "semi.zip\vehicles\semi\". Keen eyes may notice there is an unused sound file "SemiEngine balls.wav" this sound (as the name implies) has balls, that is to say, it sounds meaner. if you want to use this sound instead of the standard one simply rename it "SemiEngine.wav" and drop it in "semi.zip\vehicles\semi\". Thanks to: gabester - for the awesome T75 Fireboyd78 - for the unique vehicles sounds mod and tutorial Audacity - my favorite program for editing sounds Hard truck apocalypse (I think, I pull a lot of sounds from old games and out them in other games...) - for the base sounds ---EDIT--- V2 Release notes Finally found a way to have both engine sounds in game at the same time! install is same as before, but now to use the second engine sound you just select the T75 in game and open the parts menu. under tuning you will now be able to select "strait pipes". this tuning option changes the sound to the meaner of the two, have fun!
Re: T75 diesel engine sounds never had a reason to record anything before, not shure how. - - - Updated - - - V2 released! - - - Updated - - - Ok figured out how to do a video, no more blind downloads.
how does that work? do I just add the .pc file like from a saved setup to the .zip? im using an older experimental build, just haven't gotten around to updating. did the update remove the parts menu?
