    Guess I got my code wrong. No blackness here, however no professional either.

    Yeah, it's very weird. I don't get any error messages so I don't know what"s wrong. Hope it gets fixed!

    Well the heightmap is fine and it looks like it's WM/L3TD?. Roads seem smoother than just Torque tools. The layout has good potential.
    I took the liberty of getting a proper sky and clouds, moving the spawn point to the ground and getting rid of the gridmap materials.

    If you'd like I can send this to you (7zip),for further work and explain via pm. No expert here but I'd say this is a fine first attempt.:D

    Updated the map with ideas from Aboroath, more roads, and I screwed with the time of day.

    Built coastal road, worked in a bridge span with tunnel, and coastal sand dunes.
    Thank you to ECA, I am starting to push my personal limit. The dunes are ocean influenced.

    I need more time in the day...ehm and hard drive space. Sand looks awesome.....could make for nice snow too!

    I don't necessarily know what you are saying to me. Sand dunes mapping were requested earlier in the month, thus I knew I had a section for that. The request was probably for something a lot more desert and Dubai / Saudi Arabian like, however my map would not comply that far.

    If you are short of the time needed for Forest, I would donate some of mine to work your snow. I certainly have time, while the sand certainly does not act like sand or snow in my mapping yet. Earlier, maybe my coding is bad. I changed the TOD's start time, rather than current time, this time...

    I am the type of dude who is out riding town these days on his bicycle, and sees the brand new 2015 Mustang GT Independent Rear Suspension in Wine Red waiting for the drawbridge. What do I do? I roll up passenger side, slam my head down into the window and ask "will you race me in that thing?!?" Turned out the wheelman is my marine friend from the gym / town, who just ante'ed up, has his "old" 2010 Mustang on the boards at the supermarket. ART!! how are you?! Very happy today, but never will I see a car like that in my garage. I am just too ADHD at the moment. His kid is a Heli Cobra XO. I communicate with strangers more than my own family.

    Space on the hard-drive you say? I tried to upload only the files that changed for this map, my map, for those who don't want to trouble huge downloads. I still do not understand everything fully, so I wing it. BTW - this map is Alpha release status, I have no clue what I am truly doing yet.

    Updated roads today. I think I am finished with all the main roads. Alpha download updated on the first post.

    No offence but I don't think you are using vanilla correctly.;)

    vanilla usually means something that is how the devs made it without mods.

    It would be like if you bought a car and kept it factory stock you'd consider that vanilla
    But than you put a spoiler on it making it no longer vanilla.

    If what you are making is a mod for a game than it can't be vanilla.

    Sorry it just confuses me why you choose to use that.:confused:

    But it looks very good by the way.:p

    No problem, I would not mind changing the name. I thought it up when driving between town to town avoiding construction and detours. I labeled it "vanilla" regarding it being propless, really only a heightmap and roads with minimal textures. I am open to suggestions, how about "plain" Intertown?

    Renamed it "Plain", it will probably crash all of my forum links for the better :D

    Thank you for the comment. I think it is plain because I am giving up. I will not be able to ever name it advanced.

    Maybe I do not know what I am actually saying. I already give it up, ...you can download it already at the link up top. It is not on forums yet because I change it often and to save space.

    Also though, I donated whole blood hard today, and elevating my left onto the desk is bruising. I just do not feel I will ever get the best out of me for InterTown, it has to be good fun. If I cant find good fun in it, then I dog, dog tired.

    Sure you may. I recommend you rename the map if so.
    I am still painting forest on the plain heightmap over here and will still update. Your update will be all yours to share.

    Forested more of the terrain with an update today. Some smoothing and widening of some roads, still a plain map, but some more stuff for you in the update.

    -My coding is still bad.
