It would slow the development down more than is worth. Much more attention is not what the game needs right now anyways, just a handful of testers. The game is getting enough recognition on Youtube as it is.
Hmm, if you really wanted to play this on steam just add it as a non Steam game, but i do think it would be cool if at some point they add this on Steam Greenlight.
This game is simply obliged to be in Steam, it will be so more convenient,and besides it will attract more buyers. p.s.I ask you,please,release it on Steam
Yes, And then you get a lot of the YouTube game reviewers not understanding the game and giving it a bad rating, And I'd prefer to keep the forum clean of the FPS gamers saying "OMGOGM SO STUPID I CANT EVEN SPAWN A DIFFERNT CUR." I mean It would bring more money, but I don't think steam will help it appeal to the right audience.
This game is in alpha more attention is not what It needs the RoR community plus the multitude of people from youtube etc other media sites is enough as is! the devs already have there hands full and don't need more problems like "tis gam no werk on my peeccc halp meh out nao!" Yes there would be a ton of idiots criticising (I am unable to spell this word) the game, but the word of an idiot is often dismissed so they should just be ignored. As for the ones making threads like "Maek new car in demo plez" or "omgz maek dis in gtav" on this website, well....I can't say ban them because that would be unfair, but they should be reminded of the search function like every other person making a "duplicate" thread. EDIT: Even the people on reddit can be stupid about this...not all of them, some of them....the ones with the bottom comments XD

There is still a lot of time and work (now that we are Greenlit) before the game will actually be on the Steam store. Stay tuned
While the internet is full of toxic people, I feel that ya'll aren't giving the PC gaming community enough credit. They may be ignorant, but I'm sure most people are smart enough to realize what's good, and what has a lot of potential, which, BeamNG has huge potential to become something great. Anyway, like it or not it's been greenlit on Steam, so congrats to the devs, and good job guys, way to get your votes in
