Do the developers have specific jobs to contribute in the development of the game?

    This is another question I was thinking of. I know gabester is the vehicle artist and LJFHutch is the environment artist, but what about the other developers like estama, Goosah, tdev, B25mitch, etc.

    I believe the ingame credits lists everybody under their 'work-group'. Some of us do 'a bit of all' tho.

    Ok, does it work like this for a vehicle: Gabester does the model, B25Mitch does main jbeam, and everyone else tweaks it?

    I build all the jbeams. Mitch develops body shells into finished cars while I'm finishing other cars (for example, I did the SBR4 while he was finishing the Pessima). Corey fixes the inevitable problems with the suspension I've built ;) The new guys we've hired (Jali and Renju) do the same thing as Mitch, finishing body shells.

    A: Nope, they clearly all sit around looking out windows like a bump on a log.






    Real Answer: Ever since 2012 this was clear, all members have specific jobs to carry out just like devs at any game studio, I think before the race update when they really started hiring outsiders most of them were hired for HTML and UI work.

    Correct me if I am wrong.


    Of course now we have jbeamers and basically everyone but map designers coming in at a frequent rate.[/h]

    I like designing maps. The island map in my signature was my first one.
