So, I've made this thread for a specific kind of images: 360° Virtual Reality like images. alpha.vrchive.com let you upload your premade 360-Panoramic image and let you visualize in an interactive editor. If you visit the site from a phone, the viewer will use your accelerometer to turn around (Like in Street View/Photosphere). Here's a downsized example: Lame right? Now check this: http://alpha.vrchive.com/image/xN Give it some seconds to load, original image is quite large. How it works? -Take a bunch of screenshot from all possible direction. -Pass them on some software that let you stich them to create 360° Panoramics (I use PTGui). -Upload result on vrchive.vom Let the gallery start: 360 - http://alpha.vrchive.com/image/xz 360 - http://alpha.vrchive.com/image/x3 - - - Updated - - - More http://alpha.vrchive.com/image/2J http://alpha.vrchive.com/image/2L
I took them at 90 degree FOV. In PTGui it asks for the FOV, but in mm (put 16mm if you use 90 degree). The amount of picture can be whatever you want. I took about 30 pics at all angles for those above. The more, the better.
It's pretty amazing how well those come out... if I didn't know how you did it I would have thought you wrote a script to take a full 360 photo in one take!
