WIP Beta released Allegany

    The second I got the alpha, I started working on this terrain, and now after a couple days work, here is the first release. This is a large casual offroading map with a few islands. Not all of the islands are completed yet, so for now the incomplete ones are just forest.

    Feel free to to make any suggestions for what you want to see in the terrain!!

    You can't see it in those pics, since they were taken early on in development, but there's a jump right next to the bridge ;)

    Wow, that looks astonishing! Great terrain you got there, sad enough you can't upload it yet because of that bug.

    Do you realize this looks really, really, really good? Because it does look really good. I am looking forward to a new map to explore :)

    Quick question, how kind is it to low end laptops. I got integrated graphics and it's such a bottleneck

    Well, It has a lot of vegetation, so it may not do all too well on a laptop, but i can easily make an FPS version :)

    I wouldn't worry too much about making an FPS version just for the one guy :) I'll just give it a bash anyway

    Ooh. The map's looking pretty good from those screenshots. I look forward to playing on this map. Do you plan on adding any areas for rock/hill climbing, such as rock groups or steep roads?

    Yep! There's already a valley with a bit of level rock crawling, but I will be adding some tougher trails :) This map will have a lot of variety.

    I didn't know if I could upload a 130MB file as an attachment...next version of the terrain ill do that method :)
