so far so good. Engine and trans are gutless, but thats period correct. Radiator seems a bit easy to mess up, overall cool though!
Alright, I got some already for the bronco, ill paste over. --- Post updated --- Added HD radiator Renamed Updated Radiator to "SD Radiator" Added 351M Added 351 HO (tuning option) Added AOD 3 Speed W/ OD Refer to top post for newest update..
Nice, although I would prefer you pm me as to not clutter up the thread with chat and such download will be updated btw
the bronco I'm doing is based off this so maybe we can help each other? Or use parts from each others mods like bumpers, grilles, wheels, engine and transmissions. As for the most part a lot of parts are interchangeable between the two and I cant model so I would like to maybe use parts from this as it is a later model year with ford badging and bumper guards instead of F O R D lettering and the older style bumpers. Maybe make the parts from this an option as a lot of stuff on this would look great on the bronco. --- Post updated --- I noticed that your front suspension is jbeamed wrong as it acts like like a double wish bone design and not like the ford design as the axle itself deforms. to see this position the camera under the front end and use the node grabber to pull down on the frame. if you want to you can use the front suspension off the bronco as it behaves normally unless you land too hard, then the suspension will go through the the front of the bronco and it is hard to get the wheels off but those are the only issues with it. Overall this is a good improved mod
sure, I am working on a update that overhauls the front jbeam and adds more to the engine bay (radiator support) new update will include: lots of jbeam Front radiator support new engines wheel well cover things possibly a better suspension as the current one is not very realistic
maybe when you are done with the jbeam on your truck could you please help me fix the front facsa, add a radiator, fix the interior jbeam, fix the tailgate and make the top detach. As I break something almost every time I touch the files and cant figure out why, witch is why I need help. If you are up to it we can swap some parts between the two so you get the older bumpers and badging and I get the newer bumpers and badging as options for the two. You don't need to help me if you don't want to but if you can that would be great. PS if you want some parts you have my permission to use anything from the bronco as the bronco shares everything with the f series except the cab and frame.
Update! (uploading) this update includes new jbeams and engines and what was mentioned above some meshes don't want to load (but the jbeam is there)(will be fixed) --- Post updated --- UPLOADED!
Do not change the axle. Nearly all Ford Trucks that were Four Wheel Drive had a front axle designed like this. Here is an example. It is a Dana axle of sorts, I forget the model. This was designed specifically for the Four Wheel Drive Ford Trucks. Weird suspension design, but it works.
--- Post updated --- @Josh could you delete the file in your post as the engines are included in the update and I dont want people to download an old version
@Josh could you delete the file in your post as the engines are included in the update and I dont AH I think I get it @JBatic was saying the suspension is supposed to be a solid axle but I took a close look at the picture @Powered_By posted and the suspension looks to act like an independent suspension in a weird way
