unable to start/update BeamNG.drive

Hi, just bought the full game. The problem is that I can't run in. When I try to run the game itself I get an error message. And when I try to update it says: Unable to open file for writing: ./update.exe.I have added update.exe in the exception list in my anti virus (full version Avira). I have reinstalled the game several times, on different hard drives. nothing
Any suggestions?

Don't know if it would matter, but here are my specs:
i5 2500k 4.0ghz
Asus gtx 770
the game is currently installed on a ocz 120gb ssd
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
8gb Corsair vengeance RAM

whats is the error message you get when trying to start up the game

 

These 2 pop up when trying to run the game.
One says unable to load library.
The one in Swedish is warning about a compatibilty error.

 

Well, did you try to do what the first message said? Be sure DirectX is installed? If not sure, or heck, even just to know if it works, try reinstalling DirectX.

I re installed directx and it got rid of one of the messages but it still says that it can't find the game in my library. Please help, thanks

 

Alright, so what exactly is the Error you're getting?

And sorry OmpanK, I have no idea on how to help you any further.

 

X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing from your computer and Unable to load game library C:\Users\(Computer Name)\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive-0.3\BeamNGSandbox.x86.dll.

 

Having the same problem with the updater, been trying for over 2 hours now and everytime it gets stuck on 14.77mb / 17.03MB waiting for server.

The 220mb went smoothly.

 

Nice to here that i'm not the only one. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Have been looking forward to play this game since I first heard of it (2011). So it is a bit frustrating.

Forgot to say that the techdemo works like a charm. But not the full game...
