tech demo not starting

There are to errors: X3DAudio1_7.ddl is missing, and Unable to load game library: BeamNG-Techdemo-0.3\BeamNGSandbox.x86.dll. Please make sure it exists and the latest directx is installed.

 

I also have this problem... im not sure if the file is missing or DirectX is outdated... i have downloaded the latest version of Direct but, to no avail... SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP US!!!

 

I had the same problem when installing my Full copy. Just follow these steps:


1. Go into the BeamNG Directory after you install it. It should be this address: C:\Users\(Your username)\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG-DRIVE-0.3
2. In that folder, find the file that reads "dxwebsetup". That is the updater/installer for DirectX
3. Run the program and let it install. It should take no more than 10 minutes.
4. Run BeamNG Drive!

 

You should buy the full version to support the BeamNG team.
It's only 15 dollars and they deserve it.

 

I have this problem too. Its only the X3DAudio1_7.ddl that it says I dont have. Ive installed it (thats what it suggested me to do) 10 times. And I followed the steps Michael posted. I dont know if its because I downloaded it from MediaFire or somthing else. I need help! I have been wanting to play this ever since I saw jacksepticeye play it on YouTube. Can I get help plz? It would mean a lot to me.

 

Downloaded what from mediafire?

You shouldnt have downloaded anything from mediafire.

X3DAudio1_7 is acquired from the DirectX9 installer from microsoft. BeamNG Tech Demo is acquired from the link on the BeamNG homepage. Neither are mediafire.

 

Ok. can you send me instructions on how to do it?

 

In the time it would take me to write instructions on how to install directx 9, you can google it.
