You're a doctor, and even though you're busy relaxing on your vacation to Small Island, USA, mechanic Joe has just split his arm open with a table saw and is bleeding out! You race to help out. You hop into your trusty truck (Gavril D15 V8 4WD) and take off, only to find that the gas pedal has stuck! The truck won't allow you to shift into reverse or neutral, and the brakes appear to be non-working. Someone must have sabotaged you, hoping for your death! Regardless, you trudge on, knowing that Joe's life is depending on YOU. Rules: - Your goal is to ram into mechanic Joe's building as quickly as possible: --- This building is the one furthest away from your spawn point on this map. If you take the outermost road counter-clockwise around the island, you will pass two brick buildings. This is the second one of those two. - Hit K 3 times to bring up the on-screen HUD showing throttle position (should match the video I post). - Must start at default map starting location. - Throttle must be 100% the whole time. - No using the brakes or parking brake, or shifting out of drive. - Map: Small Island, USA - Vehicle: Gavril D15 V8 4WD (AKA, the default truck) - You can take any route you like across the island. - Note what input device you are using. My run was about 49 seconds on the dot using the Momo wheel with shift+b.
Lol I like this one! I did a 45 second run but I don't have any recording software (apart from fraps for ~30 secs), what do you guys use?
I use FRAPS (full version). I've never been able to find anything else comparable. Well done, that was a pretty clean run..!
Finally I can prove it! My 45 second run; 360 wired controller, using MSI afterburner to record. Edit: well thought this 44 sec one was good but been surpassed below, still classy though
Nice idea. Then why not take the road? ^^ Time: 00:40:29 Input device: XBox 360 Controller @TheMarkofZollo: Your Video is private. About the video recording software: I use fraps too, but you might want to take a look at bandicam.
What quality are you guys uploading? Resolution, compression, fps e.t.c? It is taking me 25 mins to upload a 135MB vid... Anyway, Meral Harbes has opened my mind; 36 seconds? Again 360 controller.
Mirilllis Action. Beats anything except for a capture card. I'm normally playing with 25 FPS and I can record 1080p 30FPS and play with 23FPS. And 800MB/minute. But if I render it correctly with a video editor, it gets 80MB.
Dang, and I was all excited about my 43 second run!
