Help with a Wired Xbox Controller

Before the newest update (.3.0.2) My Gamestop Xbox 360 Wired Controller would work without any problems, but after this update the controller will refuse to steer the car. I can perform all the other controls (Gas, Shifting, and the others) but the controllers thumbstick would be pointing completely to the left and it would budge. I tried using Ctrl+M, I have updated the inputmap name, I am running out of ideas here, can anyone help?

 

Yeah I started having the same issue after updating. Have tried fiddling with input maps but steering just wont work.

 

same problem here, has anyone figured out how to make it work......

 

open the game and hit ~, then try to steer, if it comes up with the "Unknown command: joy_steer", all you have to do is find your inputmap file for that controller and change the joy_steer to steer. Thats what worked for me. Hope that helps.
