Problem Installing BeamNG.drive-0.3

Hello,
I just purchased BeamNG Alpha and am having a problem installing the game. I am getting the same type of errors with two files. Before I restarted my computer I was getting:

Extract: error writing to file Grass-02-NH.dds

After rebooting my computer I am getting the same error, but with the file: tree_beech_overhang_a.dae

I searched through the forums and didn't find any similar problems.

If needed I can post my log, but when I went through it I saw no errors.

Any help will be appreciated.

 

Try running the installer as administrator.

 

Got the same error, only with ind_bld_tin_01_shed.dae

Could it be that the game has to be installed on the OS Drive? I am trying to install it on my D: Drive

 

It sounds more like a permissions issue so I'm not sure. Maybe try installing to the default path first and afterwards just copy the game files to where you want them?

 

That did the trick. After moving the files it extracted everything without any problems.
