Installation [TEMPORARILY DOESNT WORK] Download the lua mod installer Download Drive Straight AI (V2 - lua) - no need for lua mod installer, just replace the files installation description if needed here. [TEMPORARILY DOESNT WORK] Install with the installer. Useage Drive your car to the location you want it to start at Press J to pause the game CTRL+T to select the AI mode J again to start the game, watch all (non-player) cars take off DOWNLOAD DRIVE STRAIGHT AI
For a simple AI script this has to be my favorite, specially when you use two vehicles of equal speed and pull a pit maneuver on the other vehicle. Bravo, my friend, bravo.
seriously? you dont need a mod for this, just spawn a car, accelerator, and switch vehicles while still holding down the accleration, and BOOM, you have the car going straight :/
This is much easier than that, you have to switch and hit the accelerator every time you spawn the car, with this just spawn/reset and done. Plus with the mod installer installation is a snap, so I'm not sure why everyone is complaining.
Don't flame people's processes, everyone does things differently, it doesn't make for a good community to have everyone arguing and making fun of people, I've been seeing that too much in the forums lately... This is for someone looking to set up a stunt, usually with multiple vehicles, it can be difficult to have multiple cars reach different areas at a precise time when you are switching between cars and starting them at different times. With this you can measure distances and be more accurate. Glad it's working for you loanstar
Not lazy, just easier. Besides, like Pine said, it's also extremely useful for setting up stunts or collisions with multiple cars. If you came in here just to flame people about a small and simple but very helpful AI script that works as advertised then wow, just wow. :l This is exactly what else I started using it for and it makes for some very nice slow mo stunts and some really weird wrecks. Thanks, Pinecones and sorry about the ignorant people overlooking the possibilities of a script like this. I also have to agree about the whole people making fun of others and arguing thing on the forums, some people just leave the forums because they don't want to deal with it. It's very rude of others to be such dicks.
the lua mod installer says it needs administrator password,but my account thing on my pc isnt administrator...
You must of course have 2 vehicles in game. Which is done in the F11 editer. Anyways. With 2 cars. Simply hit 'TAB'
Yes, but when using a controller, if the steering stick is tilted just slightly (This happens with many controllers) the car will not travel in a straight line.
Don't know why that would be, sorry :/ Great question, but no it's not that smart. Maybe I'll release an update that does feed power on slowly, that would be the easiest fix

Huh, not sure why everyones complaining. its a nice thing if your computer can only handle one vehicle in the game at a time. (Good thing im getting an alienware 17 soon!!!!!)
I've got the installer opened & I've downloaded this. Im guessing path to installation file is the name of this mods file, but what to I type into The Path To The Game Folder?
