Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! It sounds so good and it pulls anything I love it!
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! New update is out read the first post! If your good at driving a stick and can learn the power curve with this engine you can shave up to a second off your times. There isn't any difference in the gear ratios between each engine but there is seperate transmissions that will come in the pack im about to release. You have to use the corresponding transmission to the motor. The transmissions are adjusted based on the output of the engines. The chipped revs and shifts higher than the stock and needs different adjustments. Very fun combination of motors though. - - - Updated - - - Yeah we need a Diesel Engine sound now for it and it will be perfect.
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! 11/8 UPDATE! I'd be interested in putting this engine in other vehicles, what exactly do I need to change in the .jbeam files?
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! 11/8 UPDATE! eh lots of adjustments but I could try to make on for another vehicle. Which vehicle do you want it for?
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! 11/8 UPDATE! You should definitely make one for the D15. But if you could... could you also make one for the Silverado?
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! 11/8 UPDATE! Might make one for the Silverado, going to wait for the release of the d15 pulling a trailer and i'll put a cummins engine in that setup. - - - Updated - - - Engine pack for the D15 is now out. It should work for most variants of the D15 that people make. The D15 is much lighter than the H15 so the transmission likes to skip 2nd if u run a straight line in a 2wd setup. But with the transfer case the D15 moves like a bat out of hell. - - - Updated - - - I'll make it for the MoonHawk another time, gotta finish up the last season of Breaking Bad
Re: 6.7 Cummins Engine for Van - Excellent Pulling Power! 11/8 UPDATE! Ah got it out, try it out bud. I recommend downloading fluffywoofles 500hp mod so you can get his gripmags to hook up better.
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 Race update is going to have revised V8 torque curves for all Gavrils and a new 5-speed manual for the D15, so just keep that in mind
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 Bet Ya the cummins can still pull harder
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 We'll see. The top tier V8 makes 423 horsepower
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 How much TQ is it laying down?
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 on the sub-topic of the v8/cummins pulling debate...i just thought of this, but would it be possible to incorporate some sort of trailer like the ones used in tractor/truck pulls? the huge weight slides forward, the front end (of the trailer) drags/digs into the ground/mud. type of thing http://www.tractor-pulling.fr/en/trailer.php edit: dont want to clutter up your thread, or derail it. but this will most likely be my first model project, I am a complete newb to it right now and just getting familiar with the program and this would be 100% easier than a car. so maybe in the future we can get a wide variety of gamemodes/games in beam. (drag races, truck pulls, off road races, road races etc.). Glad i stopped by this thread and had this idea come to mind , off to do some research!
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 About 500 pound feet of torque at 4000 RPM. It's no diesel, but it'll pull
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 Dang that sounds aggressive! And your putting that engine in the D15? Is there going to be like a SuperSport model? an engine like that doesnt fit the age of the truck and its purpose. - - - Updated - - - Something like this might be possible when we get slide nodes.
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 Nice I'll try it out now.
Re: 6.7l Cummins Inline 6 Engine : D15 Pickup - H15 Van - Moonhawk : UPDATE 11/13 Any other vehicles you guys want me to make this motor for? The covet wouldn't be a realistic swap so i'm not doing it.
