On hold tue to lack of time! Please don't bump this thread back up It will return at some point, I promisse! Hey guys It's my very first post on this Forum, so HELLO! I started modeling about one year ago but I mainly focused on characters so this will be my first 3d model of a car. PS: I love BeamNG! Current Progress!
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 THIS CAR IS MY DREAM CAR ON BEAMNG DRIVE I AM SOOOOO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE DOING THIS
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 I have to say this is one I am really looking forward to, I have always been a firm favourite of the Shelby GT.350 as my dream car in real life. I will know I have made it in life, if I ever manage to get an original '67 on my driveway. However I would always fall for the 500 if I never had that sort of cash to blow. Both sound and look equally as menacing. If you get time or feel like it towards the end of this project. I would definitely consider a trans-am kit. Technically the 350 was built for it. But the 500 could always be weight reduced and have slicks wacked on it with those lovely taped headlights Looks like you are well on your way. Enjoy making it and thanks Bentley
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 looking good, definitely going to be a nice car to have to drive around
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 YO continue this project. You'll definitely get more followers on this project!
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 Wow many muscle car lovers here I like it! In that case here are some updates! Not really happy with the edgeflow on the back...someone here with some tipps on smoothing hard surfaces in maya? If not don't worry I'll figure iit out somehow
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 this is an awesome project i cant wait for it to come out keep like that
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 Man if you pull through with this and release it I will be so happy, Shelby mustangs and ford mustangs from that era are my favourite muscle cars, the only problem is, if you release it, I will have to force myself to wreak it. Anyway keep up the good work, the model looks great
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 i just notice a few things here, first thing i noticed is that your polyflow on the fenders needs to be completely equal throughout the fender, not detailed in the middle, then a single polygon stretched out until the end. i also noticed that your dors need to be WAY more detailed, but you might already have something planned as you said in your first post your not focusing on detail at the moment. just giving you some pointers
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 You, sir, are my favorite person here. Now if only someone would offer to model my 98' Mustang GT! Can't wait to follow the progress on your Mustang bud!
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 Thanks for pointing this out. I will add geometry as soon as I get the base shape done Making some progress with the front now..Its harder than I tought...I have to get used to work with blueprints...I t's not 100% like the original GT 500 but I may get there sooner or later
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 When its released. For future posts, don't ask this type of stuff. Just ask for updates which he just gave you.
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 I have a question. I am going to start car-making for BeamNG sometime in the future, and what I want to know is, what type of 3-D software are you using? Thanks, Henry
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 We have a 1968, or maybe a 67, or maybe 69? Idk. It's not a gt, but I'd say they are about the same, so if you need and reference pics, just ask me.
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 That would be really really awesome! Try to capture the bodyframe from different angles maybe some interior and engine shots if you can. Thank you Edit: Oh yea I use Maya 2013 for modeling
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 Henry, I am just going to be nice to you before someone else ís going to say the same in a not-so-nice way. First, please read the page again. I can give you a little hint: The answer is a few posts up Next time, READ or SEARCH before posting please! Look, if you start building a car and you put information at the front page, like for example: 'This car has 300hp'. Then, there is a person who asks: 'How many HP does this car have?' And then there are another 3 persons who all ask the same question. Doesn't that get a little frustrating?
Re: Ford Mustang Shelby G.T.500 1967 Sup. Here a small update. (wasn't home today) I need some opinions on this one! Does the front look like the 67? You have to imagine the chrome bumper and the two foglights in the middle.
