**I'm working off of pictures, dont have any blueprints so accuracy isn't going to be 100% I'm aiming for atleast 80% accuracy.**
Re: 2014 Honda TRX450R Sweet, I was hoping someone would catch on and do an ATV. I was thinking of doing my Polaris Sawtooth, but I dont have the "Blender" skills. Looks good so far and I really hope you can finish this.
Re: 2014 Honda TRX450R Can't even express the excitement right now!!! I love fourwheelers and ride pretty often. Take your time and don't rush to try and barely finish it because i could see this being a very awesome mod if done right. Good luck man
Re: 2014 Honda TRX450R http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/slosh13/2009 rebuilds/frames1.jpg One of the many images I use as reference - - - Updated - - - Yay I just learned how to properly makes circles on faces Not redoing the current holes in the mounts.. Hours of work to make em and it looks fine to me.
Re: Update:[2/1] 2014 Honda TRX450R Just a little update, the main frame is finished. I will be moving on to making the tail frame now. Found some much better more detailed images! So its gonna go smoothly, If you guys can find me some pictures of parts of the fourwheeler that would rock! http://www.atvriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?499409-MX-450R-2013-Rebuild Got a question will I be able to make the chain work right? http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae242/tide2085/IMG_0675.jpg
Re: Update:[2/3] 2014 Honda TRX450R New update: The subframe is almost finished. Next will be the swingarm .. Got some really good pictures of the swing arms so it should be as accurate as i can make. - - - Updated - - - Of course you will be able to easily change the color of the frame
Re: Update:[2/4] Swingarm Finished! 2014 Honda TRX450R Very nice, I personally love the great detail on the frame. Should be a fun rig to drive around on.
Re: Update:[2/4] Rear Axle Installed!! 2014 Honda TRX450R Just finished the rear axle! I got a lot done today! Happy to announce that DrowsySam will be helping with the jbeam when the model is finished!
Re: Update:[2/4] Rear Axle Installed!! 2014 Honda TRX450R Looks nice! the frame looks very detailed! . And now we know that the jbeam is going to be great too! ;D. Please finish this one day! -j0pak95
Re: Update:[2/4] Rear Axle Installed!! 2014 Honda TRX450R I've been no lifing lately to get some progress on this and I hate to say this but I'm starting a new job this week therefore progress on this is going to slow down. But I will finish it one day.
Re: Update:[2/7] Creating the Brake Calibers - 2014 Honda TRX450R Workin on some things right now! The brake calibers are almost finished, after that I'm going to do the rear wheelie bar then move to the front for of the fourwheeler where ill probably discover lots of inaccurate things that ill need to fix. There the rear caliber is finished, not perfect but better then a chunk out of a circle. This is just to give the rear end some decent looks so it doesnt look too crappily put together, i couldve spend 5 more hours and made it perfect but zero need.
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R Pretty cool, I got a 2008 TRX 400EX, don't know how similar they are but if you need some reference pics I may be able to hook you up .
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R Thanks man, From my comparisons there a lot differences in the frame work between the 400 and 450 though.
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R wow, I'm very surprised on the progress, with such great models. keep up the good work.
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R Ahh, well good luck, sucks that I cant give you good reference stuff. Cant wait to use it. Also: Will there be a model of a person riding the vehicle? Will it just be the quad with no one inside like the cars? Will the person's weight be calculated if they are on it? (Or if there aint a person but you want it to feel more realistic as to riding one would it be calculated anyways?) Lastly, if there is a person will it be removable as a part?
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R Discussed with drowsy about having rider weights on the seat so we could simulate like different weights. Like 100lbs 150lbs 200lbs ya know.
Re: Update:[2/8] Grab Bar + Tail Light Done! - 2014 Honda TRX450R You should have a Francis weight that weighs about 1000lbs. lol
