microsoft sidewinder precision racing wheel input map

    Well I grabbed the G27 racing wheel input map and modified it to work with this racing wheel.... just if anyone's curious..

    Right Pedal : Yaxis
    Left Pedal : RZaxis

    Steering Wheel : Xaxis

    Buttons

    A : 0
    B : 1
    C : 2
    X : 3
    Y : 4
    Z : 5

    the "shifters" (buttons behind the wheel) are button (left) 6 and button (right) 7

    hey, I know this is an old post, and is most likely outdated, but how do I use the file? I just got a Sidewinder (2006 model) and it seems to apply gas and break at the same time. And the throttle works backwards as well as the breaks. Will this file you linked stop the issue, or is the new version not compatible with this wheel? Or do you think it is a hardware issue?

    This is a very old post.
    That file probably makes use of the very old input system.

    The current game version doesn't uses that anymore.
    You can now configure all that stuff in-game, within the CONTROLS menu.

    For Axis, you need to bind this one:


    To invert, click on the binding and then this box:
