    Hey,
I was just watching Insanegaz's BeamNG Drive Crash testing (youtube.com/user/Insangegaz) for the '49 Caddy and I noticed that when he hit the cliff wall w/ his rear axle in pikes peak It didn't rip off. I would suggest the implement this into the game and also implement breakable A-Arms. Not broken shocks. Just like the Mean Machine Race from rigs of rods, the A-Arms should be able to split in half, causing your wheel to turn everywhere. Just My Two Cents.

    Peace,

This is already possible... you just need to make it that way.

If you were to hit a curb or small box, the axle could get ripped off.

control arms break, and if you hit it hard enough, the axel CAN rip off. especially a live axle.

OP: The caddy's support arms break off for sure. But as said it's all in how the vehicle creator makes it.

The zachspeed ford (from the pre-race update car pack) fast car thing does... try offroading with it lol. I was going to send a pic of it but half the engine fell through the ground.
