Multiplayer Suggestion

I know that multiplayer is still a long way off, but what if we could do something where two (or possibly more) players could play split screen on the same computer, both using different keys (WASD, TFGH, Arrow Keys, etc.). It could also probably be done with one player using a controller and one the keyboard, or 2 controllers. Would this work?

 

See that signpost on the main menu, mentions local multiplayer. Funny that...

Have you heard of a search button? I's on the upper right corner of your screen, use it.
