You do realise that Mitch is an actual BeamNG.drive developer, right? As in it's his job to work on the ACTUAL game? He'll update it as soon as he's got time to do it.
Yes, it would be nice to have an update but the guy has a job and its whatever works best for him. --- Post updated --- Mine can't even fly. It will just taxi.
Wow. So gorgeous. I've always wanted to model like this but never put aside enough time to learn well. My last attempt at modeling was doing the 1958 Plymouth line for Rigs of Rods. Needless to say, I got in way over my head and ended up burning out on it. It's good to someone able to follow through on his ideas. Hope this works with 0.4.
Ive thought about what im about to say. I do think this post will contribute to the thread. My English is better than most, and ive re-read through what im writing twice over. All i have to say, this is the best airplane ever to be made for Beam.NG, and we all have to thank B25Mitchell for hes work. If this will be updated to the new version is up to him, but nevertheless, i thank him for the fun ive had while it worked. So, thanks
Please make a file or something that it can download the b-25 automatically into Beamng, I fucked my files up, so I cant locate my CORRECT beamng drive folder ;[
I updating the plane at this moment. Some jbeam changes, nothing special. The outer wing will be more stable and doesn´t deform by using the aileron. I will also change to pressureWheels, becouse why not. The lift values are also tweaked but wip like the wheels.
Sort off, I updated it and waiting for approval from Mitch. It is finished and It flies better than ever. I looked at documents to get the flightmodel right again and so on.
For anyone getting this problem, don't bump and do this. Delete the folder called "lua" in the mod's archive. Do that and the plane will load in the game. Sorry if you consider it a bump, it's helpful for the others.
Well, since many of us follow this thread, we all get a notification every time someone replies to this. Same as many will get a notification about me posting this. If its not helpful in any way, its a huge waste really, but you offered something helpful to get the plane to spawn again, which i think we all can appreciate
I will try contact Mitch again. I have a working version. With the new game version I need to change some jbeam, but that would be one or two hours of work, nothing big
You should make a new thread if you're going to develop this further. And for everyone else: When you download the file, go into the zip and delete the "lua" folder then it will work. Temporary fix
It is well known that it doesn't work. Look at the posts above. If he would have the time and motivation then he would update it. Also don't reply to threads that are over 1 month old. That is considered a bump.
