This is a little test of my custom Impreza mod! Impreza F/R Torque split. Turbo coded engine 22 Ray Folk Wheels etc. etc....Secret Not the best video but this is a first real test!
About a year and a half ago this is something I made within about a week of learning how to use sketchup. There are a few more maps which I will upload videos of soon. I wanted to try something different and had an idea of putting a crash test centre down there, but I left it too long and the game progressed and this level became old and unsupported. Originally Ghost187's desert crash site it was basically a mod of a mod. I made everything on sketchup apart from jammin2222's city objects that he kindly let me use at the time. I like certain aspects of maps in games apart from artwork or lighting, I like to explore, to be surprised, to feel an atmosphere and to discover new details every time I use it. The video is about 8 minutes long, It takes you through 90% of the complex. Some areas I didn't bother going to because I am cheap and only have the unlicensed bandicam, I had to keep it under ten minutes. On the way back up I take an alternate route back to the surface from level 5. I might remake it one day, since I have learned quite a lot about level optimization I could probably make something about 3 times the size of this one.
Thanks DM, That means a lot to me. This game alone has been the exact reason for me to want to learn how to make stuff. My imagination never shuts off and beam has given me a much needed creative outlet. As best I can put it there are many universes trapped inside my mind, creating things like this makes me feel as if I can let them out occasionally. The whole thing wasn't designed or planned I just created it on the fly.
I do remember seeing pics of that and thinking it is interesting, but i never even imagined it would be that epic. Very impressive.
