Hi, I have an issue that prevents me from playing the game. I have never played it in the past, so I do not know when it could have worked, but I downloaded the game on steam a few days ago, and when I start it up, it shows the BeamNG.drive logo, then for a second "Waiting UI", then the screen goes black with a narrow pink outline. As I switch between windowed and fullscreen I can see the game for a split-second, then it goes back to black. I believe it may have something to do with my OS, seeing as I run on Windows 10, I looked at other forums for an answer but none worked for me. Please help.

    Thanks.

We are aware of this issue, and with the latest update we added more debugging tools that will allow to gather us more data regarding this issue and fix it once for all.
    Do this:
-Right Click BeamNG.Drive in your Steam Library
    -Go to properties
-In the 'general' tab there is a button that says 'Startup options' (or similar), press it.
-Put this in the textbox: '-cefdev' (without the ' )
    -Run the game
-When you get the black screen close it
-Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and you should see these files:
    cefrenderer.log
    cefdev.log
    beamng.log
    beamng-launcher.log
-Pack those into a ZIP archive
-Upload the ZIP somewhere like dropbox, google drive, mediafire, mega.co and post here the link.
That would help us a lot :)

Good news: the developers are working to fix it, and you can help them.

Just do what the post above you says.

It's not set to public, hence we cannot download it.

We fixed a related issue some days ago, but we are not sure if all main menu issues are related.

Can you check if "CTRL + F" fix the problem on main menu?

Please note this is a 1 year old thread.
It would have been better making a new thread, as this was regarding a very old version of the game.

First, you see to have a launch command in your game ( -cefdev ).
Please go to Steam Library, Right-Click the game, go to Properties and then 'Launch Options' and make sure no command is inserted.
Second, the game is going crazy because of a joystick, but I cannot see which.

Once you removed the launch option, you should see the game launcher showing up.
Press the SUPPORT button in the game launcher.
Follow the instructions and press 'Submit Informations.
Our 'BeamNG.Support' page should open now.
In this page only copy and paste to me the 'Support ID' (it's a 4 numbers code).
Then close the page, do not send a Support Ticket

That will give me more information.
