Re: Scratch Built BMW E30 M3 Just downloaded, I'm going to test the JBEAM and the running of the mod on the Non-Experimental version. I'll try different maps and areas of crashes. Can I make part configs and test them to see that aspect? Edit 1: Had to create my vehicle folder because there is none in the archive. Just the raw files, easily fixable, and not a hassle, just a recommendation, more edits to come as I test! Edit 2: Found a bug. In arcade automatic mod, the car doesn't make it past first gear, which makes it rev up at 5000 RPM. This leads to the car being very tailhappy at these high RPMs.
Re: Scratch Built BMW E30 M3 great work with the suspension. i would make the rear end a tad bit stronger, but other than that the cars good.
Re: Scratch Built BMW E30 M3 You're more than welcome to create your own parts or configurations to see how to improve the car. I haven't actually made an engine yet for it, so it's basically one gear with whatever engine you last loaded in the game
Re: Scratch Built BMW E30 M3 Very nice work indeed, Expect to be seeing something like this from me when your done, keep it up
Re: Scratch Built BMW E30 M3 I wouldn't say you did this from scratch, you did the JBeam from scratch. Misleading title is misleading.
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 This is one of my favourite cars ever I actually started making a model for it some months ago, it was my very first car model so it was pretty much rubbish :/ Please give it a good engine and Jbeam, I really want a nice mod from this. Please, don't. Anyone who modifies an E30 M3 deserves to be murdered. Painfully.
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 this is great i'de love to see how you did the suspension. I'll try it later when I have time. I was making an e30 for beam too, and before the kids get crazy yes the model is from project cars, and i really don't care for your opinion on that. I was having issues with the stability of the jbeam structure as a whole... i'll try yours and see how different it is - - - Updated - - - there we go, almost missed this post. i almost thought for a second there was one thread on this forum that didn't have a post like this. i missed it the first time around. whats up with these comments ALL THE TIME ? he said 'scratch jbeam' and also wrote the proper credits. ffs smh
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 Obviously you didn't see the original post title that seemed to imply the whole thing was made from scratch, including the model. He has since changed that.
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 yea whatever though? why so hostile here? you act like the police or some shit. you can just say "hey did you make everything from scratch including the model and all the parts too? " maybe im old as shit i just dont see the need for the negative and insta-bashing that happens A LOT on these forums. maybe this game attracts the assholes im not sure what it is. shame because it doesn't have to be that way. - - - Updated - - - I just got a chance to try this out. your jbeam looks very similar to mine (obviously its the same car i know) except for the top where my pillar supports are probably not done so well. What I dont get is why my jbeam was so "soft" compared to yours, as far as I remember I made them with maximum strength or something.. I'de be interested to know why yours does what it does in comparison to mine. I wouldn't worry about the suspension or car handling yet, just keep doing. I'm sure someone who isn't an ass (there has to be a few nice people around here) can help you out with that like Sam if he isn't too busy. I kind of want to work on mine now but its a lot of time I don't have for something like that :/ well done though man, keep us updated on the progress ! Have you thought about using the project cars model like I have ? I'de be happy to share it with you if you'de like, its a far better model than the forza model and i've got about 8-10 hours into it already on separating and patching up some holes and remodeling parts. I wish i knew why my jbeam was shit :/
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 I already knew he didn't. I read the OP and saw that the model was from Turn 10, and the title seemed to imply that he made the model. I just wrote a comment suggesting that the title was misleading and he changed it. I'm not sure what your problem is here. And when someone calls me out on something that they didn't know the entire story of, I'm not exactly going to be super-friendly.
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 Insta-bashing? He was just stating that the title was misleading. I also thought that it meant a scratch model. But now OP has since then fixed that and this issue can die happily.
Re: Scratch JBeam BMW E30 M3 okay, maybe i'm going too far then, i apologize. I reacted to everything I see on the forums as a whole into one post here. i just see a lot of bashing and shit going on here and it really sucks. i guess if anyone wants to be an asshole they certainly should be able to be so without my complaints or objection.
Re: BMW E30 M3 This looks AMAZING so far. I just drove it, did some testing. This mod has come a long way. Great job man!
