Far too many tris in the mesh... - - - Updated - - - And what I am looking for is the poly flow in the wheel well area where the wheel cut out in the rather flat side of these style racecars should look like. - - - Updated - - - Also the new front end is slightly higher-res than the new rear end although un-noticeable.. and I am trying to do this like all my previous mods.. I am a rather solo guy, I want to learn. This is why I keep pushing myself beyond my limits. My modeling isn't great, but it has come a long way from what it used to be. P.S. whoever it is can you stop smoking cigs right outside my very open window every single evening.
Yea the front is a much more modeled then the rear, the group c don't have much style in the back I used sub-surface for the in-game one - - - Updated - - - I actually like this one
Give him this challenge: If he can do a full lap of Hirochi Raceway with the 390 gtr Bolide without spinning out, you won't complain again. If he can't, he either has to give up smoking, or else move to Siberia. More on topic, are you planning on having a livery, or just keeping it plain?
there is actually a stripe down the centre of the class c which is actually quite a cool thing. Tbh though id prefer the class A to be a plain colour so we can choose the colour. I know that it is very easy to change the colour of the set colour and such, but not everyone knows how. unless Slayersen can actually make a skin with a seperate download link. but i reckon we should let him choose. OT: loving the progress on the Bolide Slayer. thank you for all of your time and effort on this mod. it's awesome to see what it went from to what it is.
1. It no longer has a stripe 2. The color is very easy to change as you can change it in the UI on the select screen.
Style? Since when was style a huge concern in the early days of the modern racecar? Also, I other than the lack of a diffuser I prefer the open back of my current one as it is reminiscent of many of the cars I had talked about however my "NEW" front end has agian, yet to be revealed. However I am going to be stagnated for about a week as I have a huge weekend ahead of me full of planned events and a teacher that told everyone in his programming class that the unit project everyone was working on is now due on the 16th and not the 30th of October.
I found a period-correct Group C car that sort of resembles your project. Porsche 956 Had an RC just like that one years ago.
Since people can't wait and see what I have in the back room under a tarp I guess I haven't got a choice but to let the public see the alpha. (imported from here) (imported from here) Front-Lip/Splitter needed remodeling badly Entire Mesh Needs minor-moderate refinement Sorry the pics were taken while the vehicle was spawned in the ground. Let a wall of complaints and negative feedback roll in by the truck load, why do I bother to do anything anymore. To awnser the question of livery: yes I indeed plan to make on
I love the retro look. You are really talented in modelling. Yes the car may be ugly but that's how period race cars were, so for you to have captured means you are talented.
This thing is coming along nicely. I've always wanted another low-profile racing car for this game other than the Ford Capri Zakspeed! This thing should do the job perfect! Are you planning on adding any custom sounds? Apparently the new update broke the old sound mod, but some people have figured out how to implement it into other cars... I just haven't figured out how they even do it.
Meant to post this yesterday, but had problems with my keyboard. Here is some rough feedback on the design. You don't have to do it, just my opinion.
It already has a series of 11 custom sounds mixed together to forum the engine sound which I've already stated.
First off I'd like to say the car looks amazing, cant wait to try it out! But this is a performance car and I can only hope that you put more effort into getting it to perform rather then look great.
Honestly, the reason I remodeled the whole thing is so I can have meshes that require less nodes to be mapped to them from a jbeam standpoint... less nodes means less weight. Less Weight is what I need to allow that to happen. After I get it fully remodeled and re-jbeamed I will go back and tweak the suspension for like the seventh time to have the right ratios for the weight reduction. THE SHORT AWNSER: Yes.
