Can't start my game. Error message "2005530518#D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE"

I just bought the game and was working on installing it. I was a the final stages, I launched the game and I get an error message "2005530518#D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE"



I have already played the techdemo and that worked fine but for some reason the full game won't work. If anyone has any clue how to fix this please inform me as I would like to play the full version for the first time!

Edit: i think that's either a direct x or direct 3d error so you might want to see if you can update direct x. I don't know why you were unable to play the tech demo and not this. Maybe something went wrong with the install or the download you got is slightly corrupted? Try re-installing it though.

 

I am having this same issue. My DirectX is fully updated as of this morning..so I have no idea what the issue is.

Same error!

I was playing the fully paid version since the get-go and now its not functioning. I am currently reinstalling my DX again to make sure everything is peaches.

Will update when finished.

Any help is appreciated.

All right, after some work I have found it is either a DX install problem or a bad GPU driver. Update both and it should function again.
