Heavy work in progress. I started this project about two years ago, but never finished it. Now I decided to continue the map. Here you can see a short preview of whats coming soon. Daily Update: - converted all textures to DDS - new asphalt and road texture with normal and specular maps - started to create the terrain around the map The orange parts are not textured yet...so ignore it --- Post updated --- This is how you do it right! 250m jump...avoid the gravel-pit...and lose nothing, except the rear bumper! But who needs a rear-bumper? The terrain is heavy work in progress...so ignore it...it's ugly!
Beta-test is far away. First let me finish the whole map! At the moment, it isn't even alpha just the Terrain and the groundmap is finished The next few days I'll finish some roadside-objects like grandstands, signs, forest...and so on. Creating the terrain with the mighty (mighty! (MIGHTY!)) align-mesh tool! It's a timelapse...one hour real time. Have fun!
Experimenting with clouds! Quite nice for the first try... Edit: ...oh...there are some planes! And they are moving
I can run all stock maps with everything on max and get at 45-60, some weird maps do, however, lag like crazy and not the ones you would expect... I'm sure this will be fine. Just those clouds look so perty
Give me some suggestions. Let me know what you want in this map! What I am currently working on, is a tunnel-system inside the mountains...so that you can reach the platform when you are at the ground. Also a hospital, parking lot at the ground...and some kind of pitstops/garages are planned.
