Can I advertise my mod? I am making the design now, but how big does it have to be?

 

@MysteryManGER Would it be difficult for me to change the ad textures on the signs along the runway (and also the garage then when the update with it is released) to sort f personalize it for me?

 

I think it will be 2048x1024 each wall. Left and right per garage.

It won't be difficult. If you send me an ad (1024x512 pixels) i'll insert it into the next release (BETA 3). Otherwise you could edit the textures for yourself if you edit the DDS files into the ZIP file.

 

Great idea man - the interaction is real! I'd like to desing one garage if possible.

 

I could do some, I also did some skins for the FR16 so maybe I can make them for these teams

Good to hear that you are interested. I'll upload the templates this evening when I come home from work! Is PSD (Photoshop) okay for you? Or do anyone need another file format?

Problem with DDS is that this file format has no layer support. But its no problem...we'll see

Okay guys...here is the template for the Photoshop users! You just have to edit the blue "Background"-Layer...everything else should be untouched! The picture shows the left side of the garage...the right side will just be mirrored. You have both templates inside the ZIP!

Have fun and be creative!

PS: Don't worry about the resolution of the template...I'll scale it down to 2048x1024 pixels! Also a normal- and specular map will be created by me!

 

Nothing final..just experimental! Car-Curling...on icy surface...what do you think?

 

Car-Curling won't be part of the next release. I tried different angles and distances...if it fits for one vehicle...it won't fit for some others (will stop too early or to late)...I have to find another design for the "target-zone" ...but after the next release. At the moment I focus on the other mini games and the pitlane. Please send me some designs...a few garages need to be designed!

Can you please make a very long icy bobsled or icy luge track for the cars?

 

He did make an concept version of one. He showed it and talked about it already in post number #273 and #274(just a few posts above yours).
