I may eventually add some higher hp engine with turbos for cars that dont have any high hp engines like the covet or the coupe. Adding an I6 from another car is not the point of this mod and as i have said before, porting engine models is not the aim of this mod.
Hey, I am fairly new to this and still in the process of figuring out this whole program... I love what this modding community is doing here and I love how it's a very close community as well. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes... There are many great mods I've found for BeamNG.drive however I'm not sure how to go about designing a drive train out of my real '89 Chevy C1500... 5.7L TBI (350cid) Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 (4L60) 4spd 3.73 rear diff RWD Any help with this or even a direction to start on would be a help. Any additional info upon request. Thanks for your time and help!
Making engine components is very simple. The main things with the engine is the torque curves and the values of friction and inertia, these values have the biggest effect on the characteristics of the engine. Gearboxes are even easier, all you need to do is put in the gear ratios in the appropriate section and you are all set. If you want to learn more have a look at some of the files in my pack to get a basic understanding of the different engines and how they are made.
could you make a rear axle and stonger drag radials for the moonhawk to handle your engines power, also maybe a wheelie bar thats closer to the ground
Maybe you can realise that this thread is dead, hasen't been used since 2018, and the hasen't been updated in a long time.
