    ECA Rally Tournament
An idea (and test) for a little friendly BeamNG competition: four rally scenarios, all in East Coast USA. You have a week to set a time for each one, whoever has the best total time at the end wins. Sounds good?

    Rules
    • Each week will feature a new, custom-made scenario.
    • You have (roughly) one week to set a time on a course, exact times may differ depending on my access to a computer, but deadlines will be posted for each event. Submissions after the deadline won't be counted.
    • Times require proof: either a screenshot or a video will do. I like videos more, though.
    • You can submit multiple times, the best one will count.
    • At the end of the four stages, the person with the best total time (best stage times summed up) wins.
    • You don't have to participate in all the stages to still compete: skipping a stage will give you a resulting time of 2 minutes more than the best time.
    Installation Instructions
Download the attached zip file and drop it in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods.

    Stage 1: Town Circuit
Deadline: November 13th, 12:00 AM CET (Central European Time)
A three-lap rally course through and around the town. There isn't too much track to learn, but you do have to drive it thrice as often.

    Stage 1 Results
    01. AM V12 ......... 05:45.83
    02. Motherhazel .... 05:48.87
    03. Nadeox1 ........ 06:12.59
    04. RyvyLo ......... 06:39.37
    05. Titantls ....... 06:41.16
    06. yolo-phil ...... 06:55.70
    07. TheKittenHD .... 07:45.83 (skipped)
    07. mumboking ...... 07:45.83 (skipped)
    07. torsion ........ 07:45.83 (skipped)
    07. Drivver ........ 07:45.83 (skipped)

    Stage 2: Dirt Course
Deadline: November 22nd, 12:00 AM CET (Central European Time)
This time it's a point to point rally, over lots of dirt roads. It's somewhat easier than the last stage, but there's three times the amount of track to master.

    Stage 2 Results
    01. AM V12 ......... 05:49.26
    02. Nadeox1 ........ 06:05.18
    03. Motherhazel .... 06:10.98
    04. TheKittenHD .... 06:23.28
    05. RyvyLo ......... 06:54.25
    06. mumboking ...... 06:56.42
    07. Titantls ....... 07:00.09
    08. yolo-phil ...... 07:49.26 (skipped)
    08. torsion ........ 07:49.26 (skipped)
    08. Drivver ........ 07:49.26 (skipped)

    Stage 3: Asphalt Course
Deadline: November 29th, 12:00 AM CET (Central European Time)
Another point to point rally, except now you'll be driving over asphalt most of the time. This isn't the Sunburst's strong suit, and might prove trickier than it seems at first.

    Stage 3 Results
    01. AM V12 ......... 05:49.67
    02. mumboking ...... 05:55.58
    03. RyvyLo ......... 06:04.37
    04. torsion ........ 06:48.77
    05. Motherhazel .... 07:49.67 (skipped)
    05. Nadeox1 ........ 07:49.67 (skipped)
    05. Titanls ........ 07:49.67 (skipped)
    05. TheKittenHD .... 07:49.67 (skipped)
    05. yolo-phil ...... 07:49.67 (skipped)
    05. Drivver ........ 07:49.67 (skipped)

    Stage 4: Field Circuit
Deadline: December 6th, 12:00 AM CET (Central European Time)
The final stage of this tournament, this is a two lap race on a track that's been laid out in ECA's fields. The track is relatively easy, so setting a good time will be about gutsy driving and clever cutting.

    Stage 4 Results
    01. AM V12 ......... 05:28.76
    02. Drivver ........ 05:34.09
    03. mumboking ...... 05:39.24
    04. torsion ........ 05:44.45
    05. RyvyLo ......... 06:14.76
    06. Motherhazel .... 07:28.76 (skipped)
    06. Nadeox1 ........ 07:28.76 (skipped)
    06. Titanls ........ 07:28.76 (skipped)
    06. TheKittenHD .... 07:28.76 (skipped)
    06. Yolo-phil ...... 07:28.76 (skipped)

    Final Results
    01. AM V12 ......... 22:53.52
    02. RyvyLo ......... 25:52.75
    03. mumboking ...... 26:17.07
    04. Motherhazel .... 27:18.28
    05. Nadeox1 ........ 27:36.20
    06. torsion ........ 28:08.31
    07. Drivver ........ 28:58.85
    08. Titanls ........ 28:59.68
    09. TheKittenHD .... 29:27.54
    10. Yolo-phil ...... 30:03.39

Congratulations to AM V12 for finishing first place, with a whopping 3 minute lead! Additional congratulations to RyvyLo and mumboking for finishing second and third, respectively. A big thank you to everyone who participated, you've made organising this a true joy.

Whoah this is an hard track ! Anyway, after climbing the steep learning curve I managed to do a reasonably good time :

I'm starting to get the hang of this track, so I think it won't be my final time
Thanks for the good challenge !

Dragging the zip into "mods" doesn't make it show up ingame, clearing cache not either which is the same for extracting it into mods/levels and clearning cache :/

Which version are you using? The zip will only work in 4.3.0 (and onward, probably), and you have to extract it into mods, as the levels folder is already included in the zip (so extracting it into mods/levels would result in mods/levels/levels/east_coast_usa).

Ah, that's it then, I'm still on the DX9 version.
I thought it should work because ECA works here, too :p Thanks

It might work to add the scenario files to the ECA game files (4.0.6 has scenarios, right? I can never remember keep numbers straight), but be sure to make your backups and such.

Been a while since I've actually driven this track as I've been working on the other three scenarios, so I decided to give it another go. Felt rusty, but I actually got pretty close to my personal best. And no, I won't actually be participating.

These times are getting pretty good, and there's still a lot of time left before submissions close. That must be some ballsy driving you're doing.

Roughly 5:55, though I don't have any proof. I've played the map a lot, but mostly to test waypoint and barrier placement and get a rough time frame, so safety (so I'd actually see all of it) always had priority over speed. I might try to set good times on these tracks later, but for now I'll be spending time on finishing the other three.

This is awesome Scepheo. Sometime soon, somebody should make a sign for the scenario in the start with the leaderboard!

I was so happy with the time i set, but damn AM V12, you´re good!

Like in the next stage, there will be the winner board for the last stage in the start of the track.

Wasnt the time i was hoping for... But still close AM V12. I will beat you in the next stage :p

There'll be three more races to catch up to everyone, don't worry. And that is the most I've ever seen of that scenario in one go.

@RyvyLo: if you still want to set a better time, you still have roughly 28 hours to do so ;)
