I don't know. We have some people who don't know what to do with cars around where I live.. I saw a Del Sol that looked like it sat under a tree for all of it's lifetime, with racing seats on the inside. See what I mean? But we have some sensible people around here too... A white Lamborghini is constantly spotted near me.
I never knew about that before. So, how accurate do you think the funnels were portrayed in James Cameron's film? I always thought they looked a bit orange in color. He modified it. It looks more like tuning to me than rice, though I really don't all that much about the differences between them. However, I don't think it's the worst thing I ever saw. Could've been something like this. Who wouldn't want to pull this thing over just for being an eyesore?
Okay... New topic: Which "uncommon car" have you seen most often? Examples include Mustangs. I myself have seen SN95 Mustangs, before and after New Edge dozens of times in the past few months. Probably because my one of my neighbors owns a '98 Mustang GT, and I look outside my window just to hear it when he's parking it.
Sorry, I didn't really know that. Tuning, rice, bosozoku, it's all a bit confusing to me, and easy to mix up.
In my opinion, I believe the White Star Buff was very accurately portrayed in James Cameron's Titanic. In the above photo, the White Star Buff is correctly portrayed as being "tawny brown", and not the incorrectly recommended orange, mustard yellow, and lemon yellow. Even with the sun or lighting on them, they are the correct colour no matter what.
I guess you could allmoat say its rice as it is race inspired by stuff like this and its cosmetic so yeah in the joke sense it is. But at the same time its not as its a completely different style to stuff like this.
After looking through a few screenshots from the film, I most certainly agree. I guess that's the downside of the liner existing in a time where cameras only took black and white pictures. It makes it harder to get an accurate description of the color scheme, especially if a lot of people who could give a more accurate description are long dead.
some people just can't appreciate it looking stock like the Godzilla on the right of the bosozoku'd car. It's practically horrendous to see one, or anything related.
Dunno where to post, but they copied the top bar of the forums. http://modsgaming.ru/ Pretty usless, but oh well....
I still refuse to take the restrictor plate tracks seriously, You take 950 HP and turn it into 500, and suddenly nobody can pull on anybody, you end up with two-dozen two-car teams that can only make any ground by drafting. I know that was the truck series, but I honestly haven't been that into Nascar as a whole since about 4 or 5 years ago, Two of my favorite drivers have retired, Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards, Which means Kyle Busch is the only driver I'm a real fan of still competing. They've introduced way too many new rules over the last few years, the advertising has gone too far, It's turned into too much of a marketing ploy where everything is sponsored, the commercials take 9 years and while they were on commercials there were three caution flags, seven lead changes, and your guy got put in the wall. It's a mess.
3rd Car crash in 1 week . Both cars have their headlights damaged , the Toyota engine stopped working I believe .
