Hello there, i found a funny problem, where when you remove the fenders from this car, the passenger-cabin is less crumbled and the door stays mostly in place and very importantly, it stays locked and helps the cabin in not collapsing. Maybe the fenders on the Covet are a bit to strong? You could either make them "weaker" and easier to crumble or on the other hand make the doors und the door lock stronger. Regards, Robigo.
And here the result without the left Fender only. Crash test: small overlap (25%) with 80 km/h (50 miles/h)
Yeah i know, the results gets worse in both cases. But there is still a notable difference if you remove the fender. I would just like to see the fenders fixed or them making the doorlock stronger, the way it is on other cars ingame.
The fenders on the Covet prevent the crumlezone from working in an efficient way and so the cabin begins to crumble too early. Additional the doors are too weak and this effect gets even worse.
And here are the results for the same crashtest only without the rollcage. You can clearly see the differences between the crash with and without the left fender.
Interesting, I tested too. 50km/h 50% overlap: Left: with fender | Right: without fender. Tested also 200BX for comparison. I don't now how it would go irl, but yeah:
That car needs work, watch what happens in this video: 14:05, the tail gate pops open and crushes the roof, basically the tailgate and its hinges are sturdier than the roof.
