MUCH better than it used to be (imported from here) Back in November last year my speeds on a good day were 2kb/s down and literally no up.
Not too shabby to be honest, running off a cheap WiFi adapter on my rig, laptop is faster, to the tune of 6ms, 50/5.
one thing comcast has going for them: their free speed upgrades when i first switched from AT&T to comcast, we had 25Mbit/s, and through speed upgrades we now have 75Mbit/s, however i usually get way more then what i'm supposed to get which is fine with me
I sense something isn't right here. Comcast, noted provider of internet and TV that doesn't work simultaneously, but one at a time, offers free speed upgrades? Anyways, here are my rezultz: I pay for 60 down 6 up. I was paying for 30/3, but I was upgraded to 60/6 for exactly $0.00. These results are on my *awesome* PC which is connected to my router with ethernet.
My speeds now-a-days.. As some of you may know, at my studio I have google fiber, (About 1120 down and 900 up). My local residence is now implementing Google fiber, so wait and see for my sweet speeds.
Why the F*ck am I getting this when we don't even pay for this much? I have redone the test 5 times with the SAME results wtf we pay for 55mbps
This is absolutely horrific. So bad, that livestreaming to YouTube @ 480p at the bare minimum bitrate uses up all of the bandwidth with an average of 8% dropped frames. --- Post updated --- Be grateful.
I was just very surprised. But at least you can stream, comparing that to some other people here who can barely even load community screenshots. btw I like your Bus Driver streams
