After the update to the powertrain system in 0.8.0.0, I've had to redo the suspension and other stuff on all of the cars that I've custom made and saved in the game. I just now recently found out that my hour of work to convert all of my Roamers and D-Series's suspensions to locking and locking hubs never saved when I clicked the overwrite button after I re-typed the name of my custom saved car into the place where you do so. This is actually very frustrating, and I'd love if I could get some help.

In the video, you can see I changed up the suspension on this Roamer, clicked overwrite to set it as the new configuration to one of my old cars (Nick's Land Cruiser), and then respawned it only to show that the old suspension setup is back. If you somehow still don't see the issue, pay attention to the powertrain app on the bottom left when I change the suspension up, and then reload the "saved" vehicle.

Please do know that I almost only play BeamNG.drive with my custom vehicles, so this is very inconvenient.

    UPDATE:

So I made a new custom vehicle from the H Series, and saved it as a totally new vehicle, not overwriting anything. It worked fine, and when I respawned this van it respawned with all of my changes.

    Nice video title.

    I tested on my end:
    - I made a configuration on the T-Series and saved it
    - I changed some parts, and saved it with the same name, overwriting the one I saved minutes before
    - I tried to load the configuration I just saved and it gave me the one from step 2.

It works fine over there, completely vanilla game.
Maybe that apostrophe in the configuration name is giving you problems. You tried without any punctuation?

Before I start, enjoy my kind-of donk Bruckell.

Anyway, I tried the routine again without using apostrophes in the name, and it worked. That's really weird because in 0.7, it didn't care about apostrophes.
Thanks Nadeox, I honestly wouldn't have even thought of apostrophes as being my problem, haha.
