I was driving in East Coast and prepared a crash which should look realistic, i was successful, but i was missing a stormy, rainy day. i know, the game is in the alpha, but i would give some ideas for the weather stages. -Snow, in some maps it can start to snow, the snow can even melt or the snow can keep laying on the ground. (would be freaking awesome). -Frost, compared with rain, "ice rain" for slippery roads and even more crash fun -Stormy Autumn Days -Thunderstorm with heavy wind, big or small drops, hail and maybe even tornadoes? -Special maps which can get flooded by stormy weather effects -Rain can soften earth for muddy driving I've seen some YT Videos with weather effects like rain. But i don't know how i get them to work, if it isn't faked. I know this "ideas" will require a lot of hard work and it will eat a huge bunch of resources but it would make the game so much nicer.
