I did nothing to this car. Just imported it, applied edge split, exported it in .DAE and put it in my GM .ZIP (don't worry, I have a backup). Why are all my textures still grey.
What I am confused about is how I can import and export a Roamer with no issues and I can't do the same procedure with a Grand Marshall. Or am I really doing something wrong? I'm new to Blender, please take it easy on me.
UV Maps do not get destroyed, unless you merge objects with different UV Maps (in that case, one of the two will get deleted). Send me your .blend file, I can quick check that for you.
Here is fine. Your UVMaps are fine, and so is the material: The game console / logs should say if something bad is going on.
what could have happened is that you exported the .dea in a folder where no materials.cs was present. if thats the case blender will create a new material.cs files with the color assigned in blender, try removing the materials.cs .
