Dynamic braking You should read this https://www.american-rails.com/dynamic-braking.html if you don't have any idea about dynamic braking. Stopping 810 tons with dynamic braking. (The boxcars aren't that heavy when they're empty. I just increased node weight to simulate 8 fully loaded boxcars) Now the dynamic brake actually works and even the fans spin! It is no longer just a unnecessary thing that adds weight making your train accelerate slower. Basically how it works: 1. Let the engine idle 2. Switch into M2 (dynamic braking mode) 3. Start applying throttle. More throttle = more braking 4. At low speeds the dynamic braking doesn't work. You can stop the train with air brakes. I was messing around with lua for a too long time and then I got it working. I can't really write lua but I know something about C# so that helped. The dynamic braking is simulated with thrusters. It isn't very good but it works.
I dont wanna interrupt your work with the FS30-2, but, what about put wheel sounds on the boxcar? Just a little detail.
Random skin idea: CN = Canadian Northern maybe connect the two letters at the top instead of the botom, or don't connect them at all
I think he os not going to make more skins, since they are file size are too big, but Canadian Northern is a great Idea.
I would second be a beta tester, since i love trains (plan on becoming a train driver once i get old enough) so if you need any beta testers i would gladly do so
Nah not everyone knows Randolph( its the people who make the trailers) i think it should be called Garvil Trains Mark 2777.
Well WLD FS30-2 appears to be referring to an EMD SD40-2 (because there is no SD30-2). So if it was to be changed to Gavril it would be GLD for Gavril Locomotive Division NOT TO MENTION General Motors were the owners of the Electro Motive Division and Wentward could easily own a Wentward Locomotive Devision
