Would you be interested by a multiplayer ?

Hello,
This is NOT a debate, I'm not making this to "force" the developer to make a multiplayer.

I know that making multiplayer on this game is almost impossible but I'm just curious about how many people would be interested by a multiplayer admitting that it would work fine and considering the computer limitation (lags when spawning more than 1 vehicle etc...)

It wouldn't interest me per se, but if it was possible, it'd be a nice addition

 

The addition of a multiplayer would be very nice, by playing with friends, just turning around on a map ect ... but it is great only in our dreams because you just need to look at some games that added a multiplayer like besiege with his multiverse, the idea is good but the pc start quickly to freeze and when someone has lags the game start going weird things. So beamng.multiplayer is awesome only in our dreams (but i still want a multiplayer even if it's impossible)

 

Please lock this thread. how many times have we all been over this exact topic. its pretty much never going to happen. sorry!

Oh great.
Here we go.
With the game engine that Beam uses and how intense the game itself is, it's damn near impossible to make a Multiplayer mode and I highly doubt that our lord and saviors up there in Bremen, Germany (Our devs) would take that challenge head on.
I know I would shoot myself before i managed to even make a dent in that undertaking.

 

yes...theres no reason to ask such a question, as it has been answered a million times....asking "WOULD YOU be interested" is like, a sideways beating around the bush way of begging for multiplayer.

 

can we please get a ban on these kinds of posts

I guess multiplayer has joined the ranks of the concept list, mesh slaps, and historical accuracy as easy ways to get people pissed off for no reason...

Personally, the only person I would want to play with is mac user and therefore has difficulties playing this game anyway. So honestly I personally don't even care, its multiseat or bust for me either way.

 

YES we read it and its a waste of time/space. Do you want 1,000,000 dollars? Let me start a thread about it so I get lots of likes and comments /s lol

 

Yes, it's a useless thread for something that's already been discussed. But at the end of the day, this is a videogame forum, not exactly a center intended for meaningful accademic discusion. If you don't like a thread then ignore it, no reason to shut down what was either going to be a fine conversation or another dead end thread.

I have to agree that this has been suggested many times, but I think without a doubt everyone would want multiplayer in a perfect world, however, this isn’t a perfect world, so it probably will never happen, or at least not for a while, especially with mods like the traffic tool giving the game a more “alive” feel.

 

Its possible if those ets2mp Turkish toxic driver don't go in it

 

It's not exactly impossible, it's just incredibly difficult to program and is not high on the developers priorities.

Even tdev said they have ideas on how to implement it. (Can't find the quote, perhaps someone else can link it).

So in the near future there is no chance of it happening, but isn't exactly out of the question.

I didn't know that a dev have talked about multiplayer . The only place I've heard of it was on the wiki. If someone could find the quote it would make me happy
