The fact that the A.I. pulls over for you is so good and adds realism to this game. Makes for a good rapid response challenge like Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)
Great mod, easily my favorite thing I've ever installed for the game. Quick suggestion: If a car slams on the brakes because you cut them off or are about to hit them, they sound their horn. It would be awesome to weave in and out of traffic with vehicles blowing their horn at you!
Another suggestion: When setting the default cars, you can checkmark for it there to be at least one police car.
Well I'll be damned, the coolest mod I've seen in a long while and it's made by someone who has also had to traverse a goon packed Henday. Honestly your traffic drives better than about 90% of Edmontonian drivers
Would you mind telling what causes the police to chase you? I have it often that they chase me for respawning my car after it's stuck. Abd just a few moments ago, a cop crashes into traffic and blamed me for it. And I noticed the global police mod, is the only one working with your traffic tool
The police will chase you if you're speedy or if they get enough damage while you're close enough to them (you can see the problem with that, eh). It seems that there's a bug when the player respawns, it makes the police think you went the speed of light in an instant. The other thing is also a bug; I'll find a better way. Looks like V1.1.2 will be a thing. I'm quite busy with life, though, so progress is slower than it used to be.

Hey Gamergull! First of all sorry for my english, i try my best :'D I have a little problem, with traffic tool, and i hope you, or somebody can help me out. So I added the mod, but when I press the "spawn" button, just nothing happen. What can be the problem ? Before the mode i need to activate, or deactivate something in the options, or what ? I try to search some topics for the same problem, but looks like i am the only one on this planet, who has this error. I try clear the cache, but the problem is still in action. I don't have idea. Just found about this mod today (from the updated Roane County map icon, funnily enough) and just wanted to say that this is easily the best mod I've seen for this game. It feels so much more exciting to be carefully maneuvering through traffic instead of just chucking my car across the road willy-nilly, lol. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what else is in store here
Hmm, I heard a few people in my YouTube comments that had the same problem. It's hard to figure out why that is happening . Are there any errors in the console log? In freeroam, press (~); errors are red. Let me know what it says, or press F12 to save a screenshot in Steam, then upload a file here or in private messages.
If vehicle spawned is not a valid vehicle, ie. gives vehicle exception, I think that can cause odd thing to happen. I think that with almost 200 mods with some quite broken, when I spawned 10 vehicles I got only 3.
I don't know if it's the mod or something else, but I experienced that sometimes that one of the spawned cars spawns underground, far away from the position it's supposed to spawn. Also, If you don't mind me asking, you think in the future other cop versions will work too?
A few minor suggestions regarding the police: The Gavril Grand Marshal Unmarked Police Package is not recognized as a police vehicle. An option to disable police cars from spawning facing towards the player during a pursuit. As of now, it seems that most police cars spawn facing towards the player, and usually ram the player or other police cars head on. A message that tells the player that they're being pursued by the police when the police begin pursuit, although minor, it would be nice to know when you're being chased. Possibly after a certain amount of time in a pursuit, police vehicles begin spawning parked perpendicular to the road, simulating roadblocks. Over time, the respawn rate for pursuing police should increase, making pursuits more dangerous over time. The ability to disable police vehicles. After a certain amount of damage, a police car should be "Disabled". The AI should be set to stop, lights/sirens are cut, and the vehicle loses the ability to arrest the player. I can't count the amount of times that I've been busted by a completely obliterated cop car. Possibly a message should show stating "Police Vehicle Disabled". If this system is implemented, once the player is busted, the busted message should list both pursuit duration and number of police vehicles disabled, kinda like a high score if you will.
Adding on to this, I often find that when the police are chasing me they'll spawn going the same direction as me, but in front of me, meaning that in most cases I speed by the police car, it respawns somewhere else, and more often than not the whole process repeats itself.
Cool! I set it to All Base and i found a whole world of pessimas(new), mazda rx-7s, and ford broncos.
