The rusted and the graffiti are the only textures avaliable. the color texture is just a randonly paintjob, the rusted gondola is useless, since trains are not rusted like that, the Graffiti texture is a recicled version of the normal with only a blocky graffiti image on the side, making it super weird. And the Gondola derails when going at the curves of Colinilas de Vapor. i prefer the old model of the Gondola, that version includes actual skins, and not just a boring grey paintjob. The tank car itself is pretty normal with textures, since russian trains looks exacly like that but, it doenst explode and even gets damage, making it not good for crashes.
Ok then, OT: I had a lot of fun testing this mod, I’ve had even more fun with the full release, you did very well good sir.
I Sugest Implementing another coupler (Whit 4 attaching nodes) so the rolling stock dont crash into each other while the couplers suffer compresive force). I have a concep that may help unifining it to the current standard. Tell me what you think. The four on the outside are designed to mach another coupler winout needing changing types. An the center one is for backwards compatibily but can be removed.
Seems like the normal map isn't loading for some reason. Does this happen with other configs? If yes, then it's probably not working because you have too low graphics settings.
Great train... but gear 2 acts like neutral. Yes I have done everything thats needed to get the train operating properly.
Except, the train doesn't really have gears like a truck. It reverses the polarity of the motors on the wheels. The dynamic braking on a diesel locomotive is rheostatic which means the electricity generated during braking is dissipated as heat in brake resistors, which is what that weird, widened, "dynamic brake" section in the middle is for.
