Woo hoo! I was just driving around when I found a abandoned wagon in the woods. I thought I would check it out so I could post it on my Beamtube channel, but when I looked in the rear there were duffel bags full of money! since I'm really good at math I estimated how much money there was and with all of the Benjamin's in there, I got a total of 750,000 thousand dollars! I couldn't believe it at first but I knew that I had to hide this money, but where? I stuffed it in the back of my truck and hid it under the cover. I then drove to a local storage facility where I leased a locker for 12 months until I can figure out a way to use it all. If the cops ever find out about this I would be dead meat for sure.
As I left. I felt like I wasn't alone. I was proven right. An Agent parked at my house expecting I was there. Good thing I left in time as me and Beauty have gone pretty far by now. Drove past the fast food place and... Even stopped at the same gas station. I'm so glad I left there in time. I don't know what become of Pacifica, but I know civilization lives on the coast. The West Coat..I just need to get through the Mojave Desert. The Mountains is where I expect I'll get away from this dust cloud. (4:14PM Mojave Desert, Pacifica State) I couldn't beat the Storm and it caught up to me. It's getting really dark, but I'll keep driving as long as I drive slowly. Beauty starts meowing loudly as the little pebbles and sand hit the side of the Roamer furiously. I keep heading forward now going 25. I see something in the distance as the sand gets more dense and dense. I drive up to it and it appears to be a trailer park...but it's completely abandoned though it looks fresh, I don't know... By now the storm has gotten to it's limits, so I stop in a random driveway and lay my seat back cuddling up with Beauty as the car somehow gets cold? I don't have the AC on, but it's getting cold, and it isn't even night time. I ignore it and grab a granola bar and eat it as the only other thing I ate today was a crusty sandwich with stale cola. I open another can of cat food for Beauty and give it to her. She tears into it like there's no tomorrow and I just snicker a bit. I know these roads though, and this trailer park. My aunt used to live here and I would always visit here in the summer when I was a kid because..well...before it became the shithole it is. I was actually a nice place where pretty upper middle class families lived, and we had pools and even a small parade. It all changed after the war when Nueronics became a widespread thing and the Stimulus came out...so now rednecks and hobos lived there. People you don't wanna be around. Though I swear in each home I could see. There was a dead person with a Stimulus on. I just wish it was never a thing, they ruined this place as a whole. It got very very tiring. Though I fell asleep sometime later and woke up with beauty by my side and the storm clearing up. So I turned on the roaring V8 engine and headed out. . .
I've finally bought myself a daily car and towing rig. This '53 Burnside UTE cost me around $2500. It's on somewhat okay condition, still has totally safe suspension and rearend and interior but hasn't got an engine. The seller was kind enough to tow it to my new house. I know I have an engine or two laying around, so i'll hopefully get to swapping one of them in soon.
Bought a Roamer to help me move back to Firwood, and just arrived back home. Going to replace the Grand Marshall at some point, but this Roamer is going to become my offroad car. --- Post updated --- And... it's done. I kept the engine and interior stock, but not much else.
I bought a new top of the line Honde lawn mower for... 5300$ along with a trailer for 2200$ Its really nice and will replace the old one that my grandma had ( circa 1980's probably ) I can also use the trailer to haul cars around and my lawnmower to the dealer! I was able to use it today and now the grass doesn't look overgrown
*Turns on TV and starts toaster* Breaking News: Severe thunderstorms expected to hit ECA within the next 2 days. Up to 12" of rain and wind speeds of 80 MPH have been forecasted to occur on April 15-17. An unnecessary travel ban has been issued by Mayor tdev of ECA. Me: well, I guess I'll get to try out the Hopper in some storm conditions. (I feel like it's been a while since there's been any major corruption on the RP page so lets see if we can make this into something big!)
*pulls out of Sprawl Mart parking lot and flips on radio* “A thunderstorm warning has been issued for all of Roane County. Looks like this storm is pretty big, effecting pretty much everything east of the Mississippi River. Looks like 4-5 inches of rain and up to 50 mile per hour winds for us. Stay safe, folks.” Well, crap. Looks like I need to find a garage for the Coronet.
Thank God I have a house here… I gotta get that H.O.S fast! --- Post updated --- You can take shelter in my house
Sold almost all my cars to get it, so lets hope the storm doesn't total her. Lots of trunk space for all the stuff i'm going to buy. --- Post updated --- Don't worry, I have a place too.
Wow, my new Vilna LWB Custom looks great! It says it's tuned up to 475BHP... Let's get out of here, quick --- Post updated --- Oh hey! It's @brien_w . I'll park next to him. --- Post updated ---
Yes. Did you watch the weather forecast for tomorrow? It's going to be terrible. I might even prepare some of my H.O.Ss with rally suspension. Oh, I see that my ETK cars are still selling well. Is it an 856Tx?
I decided to put the Coronet into the garages at Sprawl Mart that we have for facilities and security vehicles. Am I thrilled it's in a garage with a bunch of tools and questionable maintenance guys? No, but it's better than the no garage at my house. Fortunately, both the Sprawl Mart and my house are higher up than most of the area, so I should be good. I wish I had a garage for my LeGran, though. I'm moving soon, though, which will be interesting.
