The Legran is very clearly a GM "A" body, particularly the Buick Century and Olds Cutlass Ciera. There are a couple nods to the Chrysler K-car as well but it's very clearly an A body clone, just as the I series isn't an Audi 5000/100 just because of the front clip when the car is very obviously influenced by the BMW e28 and e30.

The Wendover was originally planned as a GM H body (particularly an 87-91 Bonneville which is just a sportier version of the corresponding Olds Delta 88 and Buick LeSabre). Now that it seems like it will be a coupe only, it will likely be an 86+ E body IE Buick Riviera/Oldsmobile Toronado. Both of those were classified as "full size" cars at the time but were developed in the early 80s (when many people in the industry thought V8/RWD cars would die out), so they are all Transverse-FWD, unitbody, V6, and weigh only around 3200-3400 lbs.
    --- Post updated ---

As crazy as it sounds, before 1985-1986 many people within the US car industry thought the V8 and RWD cars were on it's way out. The Ford Probe (developed in tandem with the Mazda 626) was originally going to be a replacement for the Fox Body Mustang, until an outcry from the Mustang community prevented that and the Fox remained extremely popular for several more years. GM even had a FWD replacement for the 3G F-Body, the GM-80 concept.

Roger Smith, CEO of GM from 1980-1990 was very pro-FWD, and the reason GM went all in on FWD was it was in much better financial condition than Ford or Chrysler. However many of these were rushed into production and either had a tremendous amount of recalls (X body Citation, Cadillac 4100 V8) or were delayed (C/H body T-FWD fullsizers) GM also had delusional expectations as far as market-share and had so many models some were totally redundant. This was supposed to be a seperate post but for some reason became a part of my previous post.

Always nice to see someone posting historical content like that

If you post 2 things within some time (an hour maybe?) and there have been no posts inbetween your two, it will give a "post updated" and consolidate them

I can confirm that there will be a sign outside that states "Welcome to asdfghjkl!", but in Italian of course.

You'd think the I series rally car was based on an M1 Abrams, it's built like a pickup truck! That's what I like about BeamNG cars, they all have their own quirks and features such as being able to take jumps all day and not put up a fuss. I hope that the Miramar rally version will be like that.

Yes, it's hinting at adding a new town that you can see in the photo...

...and probably the eSBR that we know about

    hmmm
It may just be worse performance-wise then. Although I doubt the luxury department is that much better than the LeGran either.

As you can see, the eSBR has a new bodykit. Note the lack of vents under the taillights. This makes me believe that it will feature electric car styling as of late, that removes vents completely, similar to the Tesla Model 3.

There never really has been any news on it, the devs rarely talk about it. I wouldn't consider it a possibility until we have an official statement saying they've made progress on it. All we have is a model, the push bumper, control bindings, and the tow point on the front of cars, all of which we have had for awhile.
