    Or simply looking dated.

And... That's not the problem with it, really... New Legacy would have looked bland, uninspired and dubiously proportioned even a decade ago...

So I though that I will replace light bulb of my new used scooter, been taking things apart whole day, there is still few bits that can be taken off, but I think I can leave engine in, pretty much everyhing else needs to be taken off to get access to ignition lock, which needs to be taken off to get plastic piece off which blocks few screws that hold front pieces and when I get those all out I can finally, maybe access light bulb.

Everything from seat to back plastics needed to come off, floor, side plastics everything really.

Designed in Hungary, assembled in Taiwan, no wonder I got so 'good' deal, this is total PITA to do any normal maintenance, even to take engine out one needs to take everything off and service schedule requires carbon removal every year, which means engine needs to be taken off every year :D

yea talk about uninspiring and bland, that new Legacy is quite the ugly duckling. Since the 2004 bodystyle, that car has always looked puffy and bloated and frumpy. Now its CVT/4 cyl only, its like "ew" lol

Beam stuff, mostly undoing stupid stupid spammy edits on the wiki, the user behind it has been denied access to the wiki for a half year but thats not to be discussed, I would advise against spamming the wiki because I will be there to undo the edits and well, who knows what will happen after that...as for stuff now well dealing with an 8x8 truck that brings my computer to its knees!

As for other stuff from me well mostly been watching F1 and being bored out my skull about it because its one team utterly dominant instead of having many teams fighting for the win its just 1 team....thats not F1 thats called Killing the sport outright....I hope Liberty Media sort that out and rebalance the teams so no one team has a mammoth advantage over anyone else, it should be a fight for everyone to win, not just have two drivers and one team that wins everything and runs away with it while everyone else fights for scraps on the table....thats not a sport thats a joke, they should have it balanced accordingly, please fix that Liberty Media lets have the Tri-pointed star made to realise they cannot get away with it for what looks like 5 years in a row....enough is enough, fix it!

Did some bug fixing today, and achieved some progress towards getting some of the more complex algorithms working. Didn't put as many hours in as I would have liked, but I think its one of those days where any hours at all is worth celebrating.

During a performance test I created the following junction with an overlay enabled showing all possible routes, I thought it was kinda pretty :p

448fps too, which isn't so bad, since the overlay is adding about 3600 separate objects to the screen.

That would make sense, considering that a lot of the cars I've seen with oversized grilles are Asian cars, mostly Toyotas, Lexus', and Hyundais. Honestly, I don't see the appeal of it on standard cars, the kind you may see at your local gas station or Walmart parking lot. When it's a car that's not designed to go fast, why does it need such a massive grille?

    One word: Aesthetics.

Aesthetics specifically made to attract buyers who just happen to like their designs with big grilles.... for some reason.

My carpool used to have a 3.0R Outback, and damn that thing sang. It was like a I6 but with a serious high-rpm howl. That thing was (and still is) amazing.

That engine made the car. Without it...... It’s just another camry. I can’t say that I’d own any new subaru.

They’re all modded, but you’ll get the idea.

I like the Ascent, but yeah, I agree, basically every Subaru looks alike. Especially the front fascia.

Yeah, the engine is subpar at best, but does it really matter all that much? It’s a car built for soccer dads who don’t want a minivan, but still have to haul the kids around.

It's interesting how many people judge based on looks and specs alone :)

I've been driving a 2017 Impreza, and I don't know about you, but only having to get fuel once per month is nice, and I have never once felt it's underpowred ;) You don't need a billion horsepower to waste gas being stuck in busy traffic :p

An Impreza, not a 3-Row SUV with certifiable CHONK

Ans the 4cyl comment is simply a reliablility worry, as Subie’s pancake fours aren’t exactly the most durable. I drive a car with about 120 wheel horsepower, so I’m not a total power hound.

The newer F series platform is basically bulletproof provided you give it the correct oil amount. If you don't, it'll break
    --- Post updated ---
The older EJ was also pretty bulletproof. The headgasket meme is literally layman's speak for I turned up boost expecting everything to work. Otherwise again, just got to look after their oil and coolant levels

Being a former owner of a Saab 92-X which is a rebadged Impreza, I must disagree completely on the headgasket problems. My car was completely stock except for an aftermarket headunit and the muffler was cut off by the previous owner (which I had welded back on). The EJ25 blew both head gaskets and needed a quart of oil every time I filled it up with gas. That car was the most unreliable car I have ever owned, in my time of ownership: A/C evaporator formed a huge leak, the radio stopped fuctioning properly, the clutch started to slip, the belt started squealing, the shifter sometimes would come out of gear because the bushings were so worn out, and many more issues. I only had the car for around 3,000 miles over the course of half a year. Their worst flaw is basically being impossible to work on without an engine hoist.

TLDR: I will never buy a Subaru product ever again because they are unreliable and hard to work on.
