steam user says HI

sorry if i missed a post, just title searched the recent ones & didn't see anything, & nothing in the dev blog.

i downloaded the tech demo many months ago & was very impressed, but i dont even think i was aware you could buy the game at the time. flashword to...many months ago & i saw beamng got greenlit -- awesome, it'll be here in a few months & i'll just pick it up then...still not there. i trust its in development & everything but, whats going on?? could a dev give a rough estimate? if its going to be some length of time i'd be happy to just back it here.

 

Dude you can buy it from the beamng website then they will email you a key for when it's released on steam.It's like 4 people working on a game and it's lots of work. Jus chill till they release it.

Anyway, you can buy the alpha from this website... link is on the front page. They're currently working on a very big update right now. I'd guess that it'll be on Steam soon afterwards.

 

i realize all that, i just think getting it on steam would be a priority since its going to bring in quite a bit of cash. have just been surprised i havent seen it yet.

 

It is a priority. But they haven't been able to do it yet. It's not that simple.

 

Dude they are working their arses off trying to get the race update and dealing with steam so you got to hand it to them.

 

If you buy it here you get a steam key later. Why not do that?
The reason it isn't pushed to steam is that they want the first steam release to have the things in the race update (faster physics, better maps/cars/stability) available to the nature of steam gamers. (Lower powered.) It's on it's way.

 

Just buy it here. I don't understand why not. You can download it, and when it comes out on steam you'll get a key.
