Hello, I was just thinking, since with the latest update we have sequential gearbox whine/rattle along with electric motors, what else would need to be done in order to simulate LMP2 hybrids like the Porche 919? A copyright-friendly version of that in BeamNG would be pretty sweet IMO. Thank you,
If you mean LMP1-H it would be nice but this game isnt about racing cars in the slightest its entirely different to that, so if you think you can mod the game enough to attempt it, then sure go right ahead and put out the mod but if your not that skilled then sadly this idea is not going to make it anywhere
Yeah but LMP2-H is the wrong classification, its LMP1-H but I agree yes it would be fun but would it be worth putting in the effort to have in the game?
Electric cars are all rage now, so it might be interesting addon, however perhaps bit later, after tire heat is in game. For example VW ID R is hugely popular in Raceroom game (you can drive it free in leaderboard championship, not sure if you need to own also most beautiful Nordy) right now and with BeamNG there is new electric car config, so hybrid race car would be really interesting addition too as there indeed are not purpose built race cars so far.
