Nice work IMHO you should lower your normal maps intensity for the seats, so that fabric would be more close to the real thing. Like that it seems to be made out of stone, too much contrast. And maybe lower the specular area of the fabric too. Other than that it's pretty good, l like the engine textures so far, can't wait to drive it
heyo I have a bug: when you drop the clutch after hitting redline and hold it, the entire front clip just shakes itself into oblivion (not actually but you get the idea) i think just strengthening the beams in that area will fix it. if it persists, it might be due to a lack of beams Im not sure however.
The details on the gauges are perfect, takes me back to driving my 306. Can't wait to give this a try later
It looks great so far, and considering it is still a work in progress you have done an amazing job mate Here are a few things I noticed while doing some quick testing: Shaking/wobbling under heavy breaking/acceleration Needs a more refined interior Needs to work with 'driver' camera Bumpy paint creating 'orange peel' effect Mirrors are concave, resulting in upside down reflections. Door jbeam is too low Should make use of universal wheels Windshield broken glass texture could be improved Looking forward to future progress, keep it up
I've updated the car to 0.1.1 (download in the OP). This should partially fix the extreme wobble under acceleration. Braking wobble is still there but I will be focusing on that for the next update. Thanks for the feedback Crimson, I'll certainly try and implement your suggestions. Edit: Btw, what are universal wheels and how do I add them?
Universal wheels are what offical vehicles and most mods use, it allows pretty much any rim to be put on the car Also, handbrake locks front wheels, not rear and windshield spikes in medium/hard crashes
It seems to me that the clutch is a little lacking, the car is too much (for the GTI version) lurches.
This car doesnt have Universal wheels yet is it on the to do list? Otherwise i actually like this mod.
LHD would be cool --- Post updated --- Idk why but now, I think it’s a Russian mod that was ported to BeamNG website. But this mod was made from scratch, and has been worked on since 2014. I shouldn’t think this is a Russian mod anymore.
