I figure it is once again time to do a massive dump of potential alternative bodystyles and variants for existing cars, which will double as a list of ideas if I ever get off my lazy buttocks and learn to model. Note that this will draw together many things that have already been featured in other people's mods, which make enough sense that they should become canon.

Ibishu 200BX: Targa (originally referred to as 200BX Glassroof by the modder who did it first; "Sunroof 200BX" just doesn't have the same ring), notchback, possibly convertible. Factory turbo wtih ~180 horsepower, possibly referred to as Type-RS (more aggressive) and Type-RL (less aggressive). For USDM and possibly EUDM models, this would be an early-year special which would later give way to a full "270BX" lineup using 2.7L V6, while the JDM version continues using turbos. NSPEC (courtesy of @Godzilla!) is turbocharged with around 200 horsepower for 200BX and who knows how much for 270BX. Targa and convertible would be unavailable in base, Type-RS, or NSPEC form; notchback may or may not be unavailable as Type-RL.

ETK 800: Sedan, coupe, convertible, 5-door fastback because Germany. Pfefferminze (hello again Godzilla!, but why did you name a sports model after peppermint?) as a special trim variant of the automatic TTSport versions. A trim level above ttSport will have a V8 of some description, with or without AWD, with an unknown name.

Gavril Barstow: Convertible and possibly a notchback coupe, though that might go better under a different model name with a sedan, wagon, and possibly coupe utility on the same chassis. Possible sports version of the I6. "DragSport" pacakge combines a four-barrel or supercharged 423 with aggressive gears and drag-tuned suspension.

Civetta Bolide: Targa, convertible. Possibly a winged-by-default 390 GTR which could be a homologation special; not sure yet. @NinetyNine! has his Corse variant but this may be outside what the developers intended for the car to be.

Ibishu Covet: Sedan, possibly a fastback coupe under a different name, 5-door hatchback. Diesel. GT or GTz with larger engine or low-pressure turbo, possibly sold only outside North America. Godzilla!'s NSPEC version would be at the top of the range and probably also non-NA only. NinetyNine! has once again already done good work with the superturbo Covet Blitz.

Gavril Grand Marshal: I6 version, Australian version, "Vigilante" or "Grand Magistrate" sports trim. Wagon bodystyle; NinetyNine! already has a coupe.

ETK i: Wagon, possibly coupe, maybe (?) convertible. 2.0-liter version, diesels with or without turbocharger, and possibly an engine with even higher spec than the 3.0 and turbo 2.4, such as bigger I6 or small V8, but that's unlikely.

ETK K: Convertible. Even-higher spec sports model with V8 or even V10. Godzilla! did a special model of this one as well.

Bruckell LeGran: Coupe, convertible, wagon. Also diesel, probably never turboed.

Ibishu Miramar: Wagon, standard coupe. "GT" trim is basically the old GTz, combining some of the GTz's sports features with the Luxe's midlevel engine. Wagon not available as GTz and probably not as GT either but may have a more powerful version of its Luxe trim to keep up with its extra weight. Wagon may also have different rear suspension or be available "panel van style". North American version may come with the Luxe's engine by default, or may skip a Luxe variant and give the GT and GTz more luxury instead. NinetyNine! has, of course, the Z-coupe which as far as I'm concerned should become canon, possibly without a base-level variant.

Bruckell Moonhawk: Sedan and wagon, plus convertible or T-top variants of coupe.

Ibishu Pessima new-gen: Add "2.7 V6 GT" trim above the current LX Sport version with maybe 20-25 extra horsepower. GTz is sold in Japan and possibly Europe with turbocharged 2.0L I4 or 2.7L V6 (depending on vehicle outside dimensions), GT has lesser turbo four in Japan and possibly Europe (depending on vehicle outside dimensions), 2.7L V6 may be unavailable in Japan (depending on vehicle outside dimensions). Diesel sold only in turbocharged form and only outside of North America. Possible GTd turbodiesel sports trim for at least Europe. Sunsport and Aero-Tec special editions are already found in WBIMP. Godzilla!'s NSPEC desgination may or may not be realistically applicable to this vehicle, and would only be in markets where GTz is available. For body styles, possibly coupe and definitely wagon, with no sports variants of the wagon.

Ibishu Pessima old-gen: "GT" trim slots between ZX and GTz, with unknown power and drivetrain. Aero-Tec already exists in WBIMP but uses a 1JZ, which is not the most realistic idea. Diesels are available naturally aspirated and turbocharged in all markets, but North America gets no sports variants. Possible body styles include coupe, wagon, and 5-door fastback.

Autobello Piccolina: Possible full convertible as a nod to the car's Beetle inspiration. May also include versions with even bigger engines and genuinely scary performance, presumably built by some potentially factory-associated tuning shop.

Ibishu Pigeon: Enclosed-van and passenger (Pigeon Passenger) variants. Four-wheeled versions could be Pigeon Carrier for pickups and vans, Pigeon Flock for standard passenger version, and Pigeon Roost for tall-boy wagon. Body-on-frame construction also opens up the possibilty to exchange the entire body for that of a convertible sports car, roughly inspired by the Suzuki Cappucino and similar except with more power and an ancient, janky body-on-frame architecture so it's kind of deadly; this would be called the Pigeon Flight. GT could be used for four-wheeled 600cc versions, GT Club for special weight-reduced versions thereof, and GTd for turbocharged versions of the 658cc diesel; smaller gasoline engines with 50-60 horsepower could also figure in.

Hirochi SBR4: Synsol's SBR6 would presumably exist to take aim at the high-end market, while a convertible could do the same; an H-KIT special edition pushes the flat-four's performance to new levels. Godzilla!'s Typhoon variant could slot in ever so slightly higher than the H-KIT for JDM only, a la R35 V-Spec.

Burnside Special: Many modders have already had a field day with this one. Coupe (hardtop but possibly regular as well), convertible, wagon, possible hardtop sedan. Possibly more factory engines, either above or below the existing one.

Hirochi Sunburst: The Sport R from GPACK actually makes a lot of sense below the Sport RS, while a Sport RS H-KIT could bring supsension improvements and butch fenders recalling a well-loved prototype (in other words, pre-0.16-style sharp-creased flares). Godzilla!'s Typhoon designation could be used for a further evolution that pushes the engine past 450 horsepower, but with heavy turbo lag and equally heavy maintenance requirements. Possible alternative body styles include wagon and maybe coupe; wagon may not be available with H-KIT or Sport R trim and almost certainly wouldn't be available as H-KIT Typhoon. Diesels will be available in Europe and possibly Japan, with sports variants. 3Burst and 5Burst hatchbacks could target a more upscale urban market with fewer sports-oriented options, while an eBurst could take advantage of newly-added electric car support.

Gavril D: The devs have said there will be no factory long beds, but I'm honestly surprised modders haven't done much here yet. D25 and D35 should have a heavy gasoline engine (either a V10 or a modernized 423) to go with the diesel and 5.5L V8; more diesel variants (smaller or lager, naturally aspirated, whatever) could be useful as well. Possibly a RWD predecessor to the current AWD Sport model, with the heavy gasoline engine in place of an upgraded 5.5L. Also, config spam for days with even more combinations of engine, drivetrain, gearbox, cab, and bed length (the devs seem to be working towards this already, but without the bed length one). Facelift model with Roamer front-end styling is possibility.

Gavril H: Possibly an H35, diesel and heavy gasoline versions of H25 and H35, I6 and 5.5L versions of H15 with manual and automatic transmission, manual H15 4.5 sans equipment and decals. Passenger version, RV version, extended length versions.

Ibishu Hopper: Lengthened 4-door and possibly some regionally-oriented trim packs?

Gavril Roamer: More config spam, older D15-fronted version, extended-length version with 3/4-ton and 1-ton versions a la Suburban 2500 and 3500, with the standard choice of 5.5L V8, heavy gasoline engine, or diesel. Regional trim packs with different upgrades, equipment, and paint depending on where they were intended to be sold.

It is a hardtop sedan... o_O

I do agree with the rest of your post though. Some of the cars seem to be seriously begging for more official bodystyles.

Hardtop = no B-pillar. In American usage the term refers to a solid-roofed vehicle (usually a coupe but occasionally a sedan) which eschews a B-pillar, originally to imitate the look of a top-up convertible (to the point that some included nonfunctional retaining hardware), but usually just to get a smoother profile.

So, it would be a pillarless sedan, possibly with a different roofline. Think of the "four-door coupes" the Germans have been building that started with the Mercedes CLS, and you'll be pretty close.

Interesting, in Europe the term hardtop is just referred to a hard top for a convertible, which we call 'cabrio' (as you surely
    will know) after 'cabriolet'. :)

edit : of course if the producer call's it 'hard top' then it's undeniable, no matter where on the globe

    1961 - 1966 Governor SA7 ( Based off the 1962 MG Midget and 1964 Aston Martin DB5 )

This British sports car was designed to be the most elegant and power car Governor could make at the time. As a result, they pulled out all the stops and put everything they had into the SA7. However, because SA7 put tons of money into every single SA7, the could only make a couple thousand of them. Now the SA7 is a million dollar collectors item with only a few all original SA7s left, the rest are mostly original or complete rebuilds.

    Trims:

Elegance: The Elegance trim is the most popular trim of the SA7, it comes with a 4.0L DOHC I6 that makes 325hp, a top speed of 146mph, and the choice of a 5 speed manual transmission or a 3 speed automatic, though the 3 speed automatic SA7 is much more rare to find.

Elegance ST: The ST is the second rarest trim level of the SA7 with only a couple hundred being built. What is the ST? Well, it's the Soft Top version! It comes with the same 4.0L I6 and transmission options as the regular SA7 Elegance, but now you have the option to put the roof down on a nice sunny day.

Estate Concept: The Estate Concept, or EC SA7, is the rarest Governor ever built. This 2 door station wagon was made after realizing the back seat in the Elegance was pretty much useless, so they gave the SA7 a Estate body to move the seats back and allow them to be useful while also adding lots of cargo space. However, the Estate never made it past the concept stage and only 11 prototypes were ever built.

Spy: The Spy SA7 was made for the silver screen, but no one expected the gadgets in this car to be fully functional! Given Bulletproof Body Panels, Windows, and Tires, a raisable 3 inch thick steel sheet behind the rear window, a smoke screen, a deployable spike-strip, dual mounted retractable machine guns on top of the front fenders, a passenger ejector seat, and plenty of other gadgets, the Spy SA7 is a car that you aren't allowed to drive on the road, but you're gonna drive it anyway. After all, the government didn't spend 5 million dollars on this beast, you did!

Exterior and Interior: (Based on the 5 speed Elegance model)

The combination is more of an aesthetic thing, this car is pretty much mechanically identical to the DB5 rather then the MG

    Out the window.

EDIT: Besides, someone on Steam already did that in TF2, it's a 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse but the back slopes down like a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Hearse.

I've had an idea for the history of Heolia, SergeantFido's Citroen-like brand. This is part 1, about the company's original Cold War-era ititeration:

Its pre-WWII past would be quite like Citroen's. However, instead of making its 2CV (that would be Charmand's job), it would pour all its resources into a more modern luxury car, based on a mix of the Tatra 603 and Jaguar Mark X, that would debut in 1952. It would have all-new hydropneumatic suspension, 110 HP/120 HP 2.5 V8 engine and semi-automatic gearbox.

In 1963, the Vendome would come to replace that car, being a deeply-reworked version with a 2.7/3.0 V8 (135/155 HP), with an optional (robotized) automatic this time (since 1967), as well as a wagon version.

In 1970, the company would make a mid-engined V12 2+2 GT supercar coupe (inspirations: Citroen SM, Lamborghini Miura, Maserati Ghibli), with a 4.5 260 HP/290 HP V12 engine. A tecnhnological marvel that failed to generate the profits it was meant to, further stopping Heolia's expansion into smaller luxury and sports cars (they had a rather pie-in-the-sky plan of getting a smaller V6 luxury car, a compact exec and a V6 sports car, all with new engines). The car was made until 1980, when the V12 production line failed to materialise, and the proposed V8 turbo engine failed to reach production.

Still, 1977 would have the company debut the Vendome's successor and further rework, a car (inspiration: 3rd gen Maserati Quattroporte, Citroen CX, Rover SD1) with a 3.3/3.5 V8 (175/188 HP). However, with the quality and technical edge going away, Heolia's reputation was quickly getting damaged at the expense of the Germans and Japanese.

In 1991, the company tried to stay on top of things with a redesign of the then-current car, but the new fascias (inspiration: Rover 800/Citroen XM) only made the design more dated. Three years later, France's last luxury car company closed, with Charmand buying the remains.
