@FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL I like the changes but unfortunately the truck won't do donuts properly or turn very well. In fact all it wants to do is just flip itself over and I find that quite odd and very unrealistic. I think the tires have way too much traction so they won't turn the way there supposed to! Is there a way to fix it so that it can turn better and do donuts properly! Thanks!
Try playing using manual transmission, and run the truck in 2nd gear like they would irl. Also throttle control is very important with the realistic changes that have been made recently. We sorta had to re-learn how to drive the truck, but once you get the hang of it, it will come naturally.
Spent I little while testing everything, It looks amazing and everyone involved has done an incredible job If I were to make a suggestion, would better textures for the seat be possible in a future release? The detail of the mod is incredible and I feel like the seat doesn't match the quality of the rest of the mod.
Just had an hour with the new files, I can definitely feel the difference with the added traction, the truck feels more controllable. As for the donuts mentioned above I feel they are pretty much the same I have to let off the throttle a bit at high rotation but so do drivers irl so it's good. Wobble has almost entirely been eliminated and its way less noticeable than before, the only way I managed to trigger it is by literally landing the truck on its sidewalls by pitching it off of a jump. I may be just stupid and didn't notice it before but was it possible for the fiberglass to bend before? The digger panels were bending and falling off extremely realistically, I was kinda shocked how good it looked. But I feel like that was in it before I'm just in full testing mode lol Pros: Truck has more traction and overall feel. After jump bounce feels better, slap wheelies a bit easier Truck has more of a "get up and go" feel (it has more grip during gas mashing) So far the handling is amazing guys, thanks for all your hard work. Now onto the Cons that I have noticed with just an hour. After more testing I may add more to either the Pro or Con sections based on what I find. Cons: First and most prominant I could find is jittery components, the body of digger after breaking is having a seizure. same for the chassis around the fuel cell; Examples: That's all I have so far, you guys do some amazing work! Thank you
Yes, it's been like that for quite some time... Select parts of the panels can bend in a controlled way (all 3 bodies). Now, this is new. Will check it out. Thanks for the report!
New beta with Awesome Sounds™ by Olrosse will be up soon for everyone to enjoy. On top of that, I believe I fixed instabilities with damaged panels/fuel cell guard for good. Swaybars should also work correctly now. All I need to do before Beta Deployment™ is to streamline the transbrake code and a few finishing touches.
Could be a mod conflict? Clear cache and reinstall the Crd mod. It should work, I just reinstalled it about 4 hours ago. New engine sounds work and with the "custom halo crd" aka the digger chassis (what I use).
Really enjoying these new sounds, they may need a bit of a tweaking as I feel like they are a bit too high pitch. So far I haven't had the panel issue I had with the past beta files. Sway bars are a lot better and don't do that weird twist they used to. I'll keep testing but at the moment I feel like this is ready for the main mod.
Personally, I actually like the sounds how they are. They seem to match up with the real truck pretty well. The old sounds, to me, sounded way too low pitched.
New sounds are built-in game sounds. All you need is to make sure your game is updated to 0.16. New beta incoming later today. As requested, I've weakened wheel hubs a little bit, and I also widened the range of values available for adjustable swaybar spring rates. Both basic and tuned presets get slightly stiffer swaybars all round, to contrast excessive body roll.
Spent some time testing the mod. The new engine sounds are soo much better than before. Incredibly impressive stuff! The only thing I noticed is if I put it in neutral and redline the engine it sounds kinda weird. Is there any solution to this? EDIT: On second thoughts it's not too bad, I'm not sure if its just me but I think there may be a bit of audio tearing, but nothing major. Also CRTL+ALT+SHIFT+SPACE for transbrake just opens up some printer drivers for me, so that's a little inconvenient
